Great video but it failed to mention Curry's second greatest weapon. His cardiovascular fitness. He runs opposing players to death. His non stop movement and pace are of the highest level and while Curry can maintain his high octane play you see the defense clearly exhausted by the time the game is over. Perhaps Reggie Miller and Rip Hamilton were the only other players that had Curry's cardio level. An article came out recently that said an unnamed NBA player tried to do Curry's workout and was throwing up 5 minutes into it.

currys true shooting percentage is special cause his range is way out while mj kobe and lbj relied on dunking...imagine steph fking around less, not taking those half court shots to end the quarter while being triple teamed, btw his efficiency inside the paint is astounding ,especially for a guard

Michael Jordan's season in the late '80s where he scored 37 a game is unbelievable in today's context. He shot only 40 or 50 3-point attempts for the season. If he was to have that same season in today's game, he would be taking at least 10 three pointers a game with how it's played now. And whenever Jordan worked on a shot, he got really good at it. It's inconceivable that he would shoot below 40%, if he was trying for that shot alone. He shot 55% on mid-range jumpers because he focused on that, I'm thinking he would have been about 45% on three pointers if he had focused on them. That means that you can take all the two-point attempts and add one point to a third of them or half of them, that gives him 45 points a game or better if he had that season now.

I did see MJ. I watched him destroy my Knicks for a decade. He is, and likely will always be the GOAT. However, Curry is the best team player of all time. He raises the level of his teammates in a way that Jordan, LeBron, Bird, West, Jabbar, Wilt, you name it, ever could. Magic is the only player who is close, but Curry's shooting makes him so much more impactful. Curry has five of the top ten most efficient true shooting percentage seasons of all time. What he is doing this season defies logic. \

TO add to the Jordan Dominance.. The 63points against Boston.. EVERY single person who has made a video about that. Keeps forgetting that Boston, went on to win the Championship. SO against theWorld Champs, he scored 63.. IN Boston. (huge factor back then), as the Garden.. Didn't have AC back then. -- Glad you caught on with the 3peat.. then make a movie.. 3peat again.. AS the dificulty factor, for just a 3peat. LET Alone, a 3peat.. after 2yrs off. WHEN a viewer, has actually watched some of those games\series. THEN you can truly be a hater of lebum.. AS You saw a player, that the League has never experienced. PURE Dominance. It was SICK. And Loyal. Steph... seeee that is different. I say THAT.. meaning, that once he is on the court. his gravity.. His ability to do the ONE thing, that no other player has Ever mastered. (Dribbling with both hands, equally..). Think about that.. HOW many true both hand dribblers have we ever scene? Every other player, we know which side they favor. Steph is different, which makes a great player, more deadlier. ~then the shooting, blah blah.. But that handle... No other player in history had a handle+range=a threat 3ft before half court.==never have heard of that. till Steph. And we are allll wathing it, real time.

As someone that was never a basketball fan before the Splash era, that's exactly what got me to start watching: we may never see this again. The Warriors run during the 73 win season is when I started watching. I was aware of how good they were doing the year before when they won their first chip, but again, never been a basketball fan. But the next season, when they were on the run, ppl were saying the game against OKC was going to be a big test to their ability to set the wins record, so I actually watched my first full game on TV. Oh boy, that was a hell of a game to start with 😊 I don't know any other announcers by name, but Mike Breen's "Bang! That's adding an MVP, Title, FMVP, along with the usual accolades. Passing LeBron ain't a small thing. Most people have him #2. To pass that is saying he belongs in the "Jordan" talks. I think Curry needs 6 titles to pass LeBron or be #2. He will need more than Jordan to be considered better.

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to meet Curry bc play he lives across the US and he’s probably gonna retire in a few years. I can watch him play in person which will still be good.

When you're hated on the way Steph has been by both the media and his fellow players it's hard but like your stats true shooting percentage is a true indicator of how good you are and he is the best

Yes this is the reason I personally have MJ as the GOAT. Steph is one of my favorite players these days and at this point I put him just a bit above MJ in terms of offensive capability, but it is MJ's defense that separates him from Steph. Kobe, or Lebron. The man is top 1 in blocks, top 2 in steals, top 3 in rebounds per game all-time in the shooting guard position. He was a beast on both ends.

3:00 I had to pause the video and think...If Steph has the highest shooting percentage, why doesn't he have the highest PPG? Especially when he hits so many threes? Then I realized he must have taken fewer shots than these other guys yet he hit more of them. Which of course is the definition of efficiency. For those of you who are stats guys just bear with me because I never thought about this aspect of the game when I was younger and I've been most away from sports the past 20 years. Never too late to learn. Especially when it's your first love. 🙂

putting statements like we’ll never see x player again is an overstatement. while true to a certain extent, these greats set the blueprints that not only the next generation of professionals follow, but even casual players at your local gyms.

Steph is amazing no doubt! Jordan Kobe and James aren’t really the best comparison though, perhaps Steve Nash is the best to compare. In general the 50 40 90 club members are his peers, Dirk, Bird, KD, Nash, Reggie Miller, etc. it’s really hard to compare era but there are some excellent guards from the early days, John Havlicek, Jerry West, etc. rules are different now. Steph is clearly the best 3 point shooter in history and that changed the game forever. He is definitely in my top 20.

If steph finishes the season with these numbers… it would be a crime to snub him… sports media is so trash and surface level these days that i wouldnt be surprised if it happened, sadly. Your videos are so good, it just goes to show independent journalism/content is higher quality than the shit we see on tv which is all owned by 4 or 5 corporations

Steph never played when hand checking was legal. MJ was an elite defender also and this is why MJ is better and really hard to compare with these rules.
