As crazy as it sounds at first, breathing really is something that can be improved which leads to better performance. I ran cross country and track in HS a few years ago and it helped SO MUCH. Couldn't agree with you more. I discovered the importance of learning how to exercise quality breathing control when I used to run treadmill circuits at the gym. I quickly discovered that implementing efficient breathing techniques helped me to get into a rhythm which increased my endurance and stamina. This allowed me to feel free and invincible while I continued to challenge myself on the treadmill. Breathing control also helped me to run longer, resulting in burning optimum calories. Now, because I have mastered my breathing, I love to run when I always hated running as a kid.

Lots of age in this version of the Dubs. The only thing I really worry about is injuries. The league rules on load management left a big gaping hole, didn't they? What's to stop coaches from yanking a player out of the game after a minute or two and sitting him for the rest of the game? I bet we'll see some abuses. But I don't think load management does much good. We aren't seeing championships going to the worst offenders. If an athlete can't play through the regular season because it's too hard, he probably isn't ready for the playoffs, when it gets real.

With all that said i feel like there is something to be said about why there is all this talk about the dynasty being dead. Honestly this just comes down to parity in the league and the warriors no longer having Durant. Sure they won in 2022, but that wasnt without some dam good luck. Before it was like the champinships for the warriors were a given, but now they have to have a bit of luck to win like a lot of teams do. Not to discredit them or anything because it was very impressive, but they arent in a position to look down on the league like they could back then. Too many teams are just on the same, if not higher level. Their competition is tougher than ever and they arent getting any younger or better. Their weaknesses are clearer than they have ever been before and the only thing thats keeping them in contention is just how much of a monster Steph is. Its fascinating to watch and see how a once lofty dynasty is now being matched and surpassed by others. Still history will remember them as being one of the best teams the league has ever seen and that fact will probably never change.

Guess what, same thing happens every year. The Dubs take a thrown out beat dog or a pup and make him a valuable piece of a great system. Ask Livingston, Javale, Wiggs, GP2, OPJ, Beli - they all were deemed not worthy of signing or being counted on at some point of their careers. Guess what - all of them became NBA champs with the Dubs. So I'd see what Dwight is capable of first before waiving him. And I'm sure 4 time champs can grasp a player's ability from a thorough inspection, unlike casual NBA fans who think they can evaluate a pro NBA player from behind his screen 😂

Gotta start putting Jordan Poole into the GOAT conversation. He was much more effective than Lebron when it came to stopping the Warriors from winning a title.

Hopefully, Dunleavy branches away from the small ball and pick up a big Dwight or otherwise. I’m beginning to think Kerr is the culprit for keeping the same system that Mike Brown has copied and mastered. If CP3 gets a ring with the Warriors he will never hear the end of it. The only thing that will keep GS from winning again is their beloved Draymond. I blame him for some of their failures in the past. If he’s not the main reason he will be one of them if they lose.

I am confused. Wasn’t Steve Kerr also HC 19/20 and 20/21? They did miss the finals these years too, right?

Very true. The breathing exercises are no joke. Steph Curry has the ability to regulate his heartbeats. Meaning he can slow it down to conserve energy. For example, I watched a yoga master bend his body to fit into a cube. He slowed his breathing once in the cube. The cube was then placed in the bottom of a pool for almost an hour at the beginning of the show. Neat the end of the hour long show, the cube was lifted from the pool and the man came out of it as normal! That allows Steph to run almost endlessly and maintain leg strength for lift and shooting the basketball. So when he senses a player guarding him is getting tired, Steph can give that extra burst to make things happen. Matthew Delavadova got a taste of that. He required multiple bags of fluid and some medical care after playing Curry in 2016. Curry has only gotten better since.

Practice breathing and actually controlling your nervous system. Own your emotions. Literally tell your self exactly what you are or want to be, do it with controlled emotions and breath. When that voice of doubt speaks out of turn, that wasn’t you.

What kills me is since the Lakers brought up everybody in free agency & beyond, everybody is pretty much guaranteeing Lebron his 5th ring. Truth is, if it wasn't for the Draymond/Poole situation, the ending to last season might have been totally different. They act like Steph & Klay can't show, or Kuminga haven't gotten better, or the new additions will show exactly what they are made of. People can talk all they want, at lease the Warriors never got swept. That's why they tried to buy everybody because they don't want Lebron to look bad this year. There is something about the Warriors people like as much as they hate. They have a chance to get ring number five as well. But keep underestimating them, that's when they roll on you with all kinds of weapons. Can never count them out because after all their injuries, the drama between Dray/Poole, Klay's off shooting, they still made 6th in the West & to me, could've beat the Lakers if everybody was on the same page & the ref's wasn't helping Lebron to win. What they didn't see was Denver sweeping them like trash off the court & the playoffs. We got Corey Joseph, Brandin, Trayce, Lester, Saric, Garuba, Jayce Johnson, CP3, GP2, Moody, Looney, Wiggins, Klay, Draymond, & possibly Howard. Who think they can't win it all? They gone learn to stop hating on Golden State.
