It takes 2 to tango. That’s not “blaming women,” that’s taking responsibility for your own deliberate actions. The woman who engaged in the consensual affair is an adult, yet I’m positive she’ll face no professional consequences. If women truly want “Equal Rights” then they need to pay the price EQUAL to the price men pay for the same infraction.

What this video missed are the comments Steven A made that prompted Malika to respond the way she did. All people deserve respect in the workplace and all people should be held responsible in a fair and appropriate way. Now way of knowing if that's what happened here, maybe not everyone involved were given fair or equal consequences, we may never know, do we have a right to know, would it be better business if that information was public?

Huh? It’s a debate show entirely predicated on Stephen A coming at people like that. Just because most of the debates are manufactured hot takes doesn’t mean he’s immune. She came at him, and he acquitted himself very well. Have you watched the show? Not sure where the idea she had “no right” comes into play. Other than Stephen A doesn’t like it when it ventures outside of the pro wrestling type scripted exchanges. Then he always goes to some variation of “this is my show, how dare you.” Fact is, this was a rare honest exchange. She was clearly triggered on the issue and vented, he responded very well, and made a better point as a result. Isn’t that the point of debate?

Malika made an excellent point: "Do you think someone would notice if Ime Udoka was not at..." Stephen A. had just said that his issue was that it was publicized. But what else could the Celtics have done? How could they explain Ime no longer being the coach without publicizing what happened. Instead of answering that legit question, Stephen A. got defensive about being interrupted.

The most important thing, that both of these commentators continue to mention, that seems to be missing in your commentary, is that not all the facts are available and so it is very difficult to comment. But of course, that never stops anybody. As far as I’m concerned, the head coach is the head coach and deserves ultimate accountability. Having intimate relations with someone that you work with is one of the least wise things a person can do. Although many of us do it.

Malika missed the real issue. Her trying to defend the other women that had nothing to do with what happened was a mistake. The point that Stephen A is making is that those women who had nothing to do with it, wouldn’t be getting put on blast or need defending if the team did not leak what happened. That’s the bottom line Stephen A is making, that the Celtics handled it poorly and put themselves in a terrible position for not actually protecting all of their employees. Stephen A finally on point about something without having to yell it out lol. It’s a major L look for the Celtics regardless of what happens with Ime.

@@nicholasmallard2926 yes if the Celtics had just put everything out there, then the situation is what it is and everyone can move on quickly. However, Ime can’t take any litigation because he’s already made a statement accepting punishment. BUT the women who actually don’t have anything to do with it can hold the organization liable for their private information being doxed or if any of the negative comments effect their mental/emotional well being. That’s something the team put themselves out there with and could easily be a come up if any of those employees chose to.
