The Lord speaks to us all the time, try to understand how the Lord speaks to you because his pattern of speaking to you is consistent. In the past I thought he wasn't, but I have discovered that he is consistent in his ways. Now when I think a thought, I know it not my own.

My story is not a shame to me , but a constant reminder of the Grace of God .

I am always touched and at peace listening to all this wonderful women of God and want to get closer to God more

I talk, I converse with God DAILY. This is so I recognize HIS voice when HE speaks. There is a peace that comes with this💯

Talk about right on time. Yesterday I wondered out loud how do I know I love Jesus or am in relationship with Him, because I don't hear Him (or talk) the same way "other people" do, it mostly feels like a monologue although I hear Him sometimes. And this is with more than 20 years of being saved. But I'm encouraged that intimacy takes time...and He loved me first...and maybe He's breaking down my walls a brick at a time instead of all at once - for some purpose. Maybe, just maybe, I'm on track.

Sometimes when people say “God showed me this or God told me this”, it actually means they had a thought or an idea which aligned with the word of God, and also that they had a dream or a picture came to mind that was also in alignment. They can also have visions but when they have visions they make it clear that it was a vision. So maybe God has been talking to you a lot but you just thought you were the ones thinking those things, and d funny question you should ask is, why would I ever think of such thing on my own? Many times too we have to wait for God to speak, after prayer we shouldn’t be quick to go on about our day or night but instead if we just wait a little bit longer, we’ll hear him speak.

@@celine9948 I can relate to that. When I say that I hear God, it usually is an idea that He already had because sometimes it comes so randomly (but on-time) that it's unmistakably Him. What I was referring to was the experience of having God speak in full sentences in a conversational way with me - the way I've heard He does with other believers - which opens up a dialogue like two people sitting in the same room. More than words directly from scriptures which I've read or heard, but a chat back and forth between friends, a Father and daughter. Which of course would align with His Word. I do get impressions quite a bit, which i'd often say is His still small voice and i appreciate them... but still... there are moments of loneliness and brokenness when I just long for two-way dialogue with Him. Or a hug, a physical touch. These are my love languages.

I know what you mean you know you hear persons say God say to do this or to do that and I was like what are ppl talking about and I remember I asked a sis in Christ and she said to me sometimes God speaks audibly sometimes you may be listening to a program or the radio and you recognize the person is speaking about the same very thing you may be dealing with He also speaks through dreams as well but if you have dreams find out God is this you and any bad dream if you don't cancel it whilst in the dream when you wake up cancel it for things happen spiritually first before it manifest in the physical He speaks to you through songs and I was like what I'm always hearing songs in my spirit so when I hear them I look them up and look at what the lyrics are saying and I remember when He spoke audibly it was a very soft voice not the one in my head but a still soft voice so I encourage you to build that relationship be real with God like how you would be with a friend or a family member build that relationship with Him and trust your process cause their is a process. Are you at seed stage or you at the shoot that now come out the earth or the stage where your tree is fully grown and now have blossoms ask Holy Spirit which dwells in you to reveal where you're at and continue to grow. I pray even now that God would reveal to you who He truly is that He would remove the scales from your eyes spiritually and where their is spiritual deafness that He would open up your spiritual ears that you'll hear from Him in the best way that you'll understand in Jesus name I declare joy peace love patience longsuffering meekness kindness over you in Jesus mighty name amen.

Spending maybe two days without hearing from Stephanie. I feel empty. She is the one who helped me understand who is Jesus.

My mom noticed my quietness as a child and she couldn't get me to talk but she gave me a diary, journals,notebooks to write in. I naturally wrote in the notebooks, filling each page, each notebook, until I could carry on with a new one. I never wrote "dear diary" I hardly dated each entry, it was just continuous and it was my outlet that I felt safe and secure in and I wasn't able to talk or share what was inside with verbal words, but the words flowed freely from my heart to the page as I wrote... my mother just so happened to also gift me with a pink Bible, and she wrote Dear Dali From Mom , Hendriette, and she wrote a note in it and dated it. Soon after, her best friend gave me a book , for I was also an avid reader from young, and Her best friends name was Anna and she gave me a book called "Dear God, this is Anna" and the cover was of a little girl running toward something reaching out... there is so much more that I have to share just on this,this is just the beginning of a testimony that went to my adulthood ... now , I still fill notebooks but the content is different, most of it is notes about God, noting down everything and more and more, filling pages amd pages and moving onto the next new book and then again... The only book I read right now is the Bible, I do intend to read some books I still want to commit to start and finish, but I have always got my own book that was published internationally about 9 years ago, the book I wrote was a manuscript of words that healed me, it ended up becoming a self-help/spiritual healing book. When I pulled everything towards one another and integrate them and it is a 3 in 1 system that helps me with building and keeping firm foundation with maintenance and leadership from God, he teaches me the way , His way, not my process, but God's. The transformation has literally saved my life. Without God, I would not be alive today. He has saved me from death too many times, but He just did it, He decided to do these miracles many times taking me away from death and dying, shocking doctors and showing me how much He wanted to love me. It is because of His LOVE. I feel tears. He is so beautiful and gracious. God embraces us with love, His LOVE

I am in the process of being healed.....I have been wounded from childhood into my adult life. I looked to people to be sensitive to my needs and when this did not happen, I got hurt over and over again. I now know that God is the only one who can heal my wounds. I am believing for healing in my heart from the only one who is sensitive to my needs emotionall! Thank you for your love and understanding. I receive your unconditional love and forgiveness tonight! I lay down the expectation for others to be sensitive to my feelings!! I have been broken but I now have compassion for the broken, bruised and hurting!! God is healer of my brokenheart....

Yes! As Laurie said, its about knowing and dwelling on how much God loves us!! We so often focus on what we need to do for God, how we need to prove our love for God. The truth is, God is the only one who loves perfectly. He loves us totally, completely, perfectly. We should rest in that.

Just to comment on what Stephanie Ike said about the story of the woman at the well, and how it was irrelevant of Jesus to reveal her story about being with many men. But I saw it in a different way, that Jesus wanted to reveal the point of satisfaction by having the Holy Spirit because she would try to move from one man to another coz of lack of satisfaction.

Wow unbelievable story!!! This story of the guy who attempted suicide, screams God is alive he is for us he is with us, even on our rock bottom he will never for sake or leave us!
