Recommended value is 64 (small values may cause packets to be able to reach for busy servers, large value may cause the computer to recognize lost packets).

It saves evrything but network adapter I have Realtek and trying to use family controller for Ethernet but it doesn’t save

I made the so called better NIC settings with the TCP Optimizer and noticed clearly worse hit detection and longer delay in games. I noticed also difference in page loading on the Internet. DSL Reports showed also slower net speed and bigger bufferbloat. I thought I did something wrong so I triple checked all the settings, and also tried some other custom settings. Everything was correctly set but I couldnt get things working better. When I made Network Reset everything got instantly better. Hit detection works like a charm and no more too many lost gun fights and pages loaded way faster.

Make sure that the settings should be changed depending on your internet speed, your PC configuration and the type of your desired usage (whether for a regular user or for a gamer). The changes that you make through software generally effects some security protocols of networks in terms of eliminating double checking and confirming while sending message, packages etc. That's why offered changes make your internet speed faster. If your computer has no network issues or any other problems, the given settings should make your internet speed faster.

Does this lower latency cuz my internet is already fast

Every computer should have different settings depending on their specifications, additionally users may use their computers for playing games or surfing in the internet and downloading files that's that I do not recommend to use the same settings for everyone.

Since they increase internet traffic for each pocket, it is better to keep disabled.

Pls help me i have pkt loss when i play games and unfortunately i have 1Mb internet I was using express vpn and the result was 0pkt loss but when i play without vpn the pkt loss will be 50 pls need your help

Some ISP may have problem with stable connection to game servers. So, using VPN may help to improve ping and reduce packet loss. I advice you to change your DNS server. You can use google DNS server (Preferred: 8.8.8.8 Alternate:8.8.4.4). If this method don't solve your problems. Follow below steps: 1-Check all your connections (modem, ethernet card, cable (if you are using wired connection) to see whether they are installed correctly. 2-Restart your modem and router. Than run windows troubleshooter (settings--> Network & Internet --> Status --> Network Troubleshooter) 3-Reset your network 4-Keep your NIC (Network Interface Card)'s software up-to-date 5-Try using a cable connection 6-Make sure that your hardwares are working properly. 7-Also reset your all network settings by the help of below video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lYOKqZiCZ8ffh84.html

Open TCP Optimizer as an administrator and (from the pull down menu) try File --> Restore Windows Default Settings.

@@TechAbetSolutions I tried, but the settings change in the sense that it writes some default options and after restart the enable jumps in and whether it can be through this program that the game or other application stutters for about 5 seconds. via the internet of course
