Because he set it wrong. Transmit is supposed to be 2x receive. He should have put 1024 receive and 2048 transmit.

This worked for like a day. I checked the settings and everything was still the same and im back up to 80-100 ping. Got it down to 40 yesterday :(

In the video you didn’t show how much the TTL should be and when I do it it says something between 32 and 138, what should I do?

network throttling index, why should it be left at default aside from you wont "notice a difference"? allot of tweaking when it comes to NS isnt about noticing its about doing whatever helps your process move along quicker giving you an upper advantage of hit registry in games. Do you have testing to do that it doesnt make a difference or is this just an assumption? i'm only asking because you know most reputable tweakers change it but you said to leave it at default without testing data

no but i think 10 is better as i feel that it reduced dpc latency. but really 10 and 0 are treated the same according to microsoft

Its TCP optimize, games use UDP protocol, but tcp traffic can affect on udp

Dont know what helped, probably the energy thing + the duplex set to automatic. Few months ago i had like 120-100mbps and then it suddenly went down after my internet died for like 1 day. I thought "it might get fixed" it never did. My phone had 130mpbs and my pc seemed to cap at 50mpbs, seriously, it never went 51. I made some changes and it went down to 25. Then i changed again the duplex before this video and went full 50mbps and capped there. After the first part of the video i recovered my 130mbps and im testing tco optimizer.

I didn't back up bu I want to restore back to default. How do I do that

its because ggos has tweaks preinstalled. if u update the driver - it resets everything

@DIRIKTV do u use exitlag on mw3 and if u do have u been using it for a while? I asked activision if I can use that or gearup, bc of how bad the servers are and they said no. But they didn’t say I would be banned. They just didn’t say yes. And also the tcp optimizer I been using for a long time and last night, now it keeps switching to the wifi and my wifi is disabled. Idk why. It also keeps changing the mtu. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I also have it running as admin. Do you know why it would do that?

It depends on the network adapter you have.. mine goes to 2048 (intel) but i know some friends who have realtek nic with 512 max. There's also higher buffer sizes 4096 etc

Hi, not all computer modems/routers will function the same. Remeber or Write down their configuration settings before making any changes so that you can revert them back if the modifications do not work.

Just open tcp and put windows default

i went from 90-500 ping to 34-500 ping in valorant. It does in fact reduce your ping to lower numbers but it wont solve ping spikes which is my main problem.

Get ethernet, solved my problem completely with spikes. Even a powerline adapter works. Be sure to get cat 6 patch cables otherwise your ethernet will be locked at 100mbps download speed maxium

Idk why people are so interested in ethernet cable when you already can have a cat4 that supports up to 400mb line. Better ethernet cable doesn't mean better ping or less latency.

Ping mostly remains on how far u are from the server but also on other stuff but if you actually lowered ur ping from this (ur lucky) u cant get any lower unless u move to another continent

No its best just to leave it default as it can mess up your network so if its enabled by default, leave it. If its disabled by default, leave it. It doesnt effect ur speed that much if u disable it

@@pr2m1umwastaken75 it doesnt matter its best to leave checksum offload whatever it is they also said in the tcp optimizer website to leave it whatever its at especially if you use a laptop cause disabling checksum offload can make other tweaks not work eg. disabling large send offload. Disabling and enabling checksum offload doesnt effect internet speed that much u wont even notice it. internet speed doesn’t matter that much when ur gaming and 19mbps is abit lower than average but it doesnt matter in gaming cause it doesnt affect ur ping

@@pr2m1umwastaken75 well ping 90% relies on your location so i cant tell much but i would just recommend removing the 20% bandwidth limit and if u want u can set the NetworkThrottlingIndex back to 10(optional)
