    Soooo , I do tie my peep a little differently, however one of the best tips one can come across is in this video right here , thousands of videos on how to tie a peep but the tip he gives on setting your peep at his mid range is priceless, you don't see that in most of the videos if any, your anchor point does change as you start shooting out to longer distance, most people haphazardly have their site set at 20 install their peep and as you get out to longer range things change, so again that he that he gives as far as setting your peep at your midpoint is priceless, listen to what the man has to say

    First of all, thank you very much. I just started bow hunting last year. My buddy has been at it for awhile and doesn't use a peep, so I followed his lead. My patterns have been close but fairly inconsistent until today, when I tied in a peep. What a difference. Great video man, you helped me out a lot. ✌

    I have just watched a ton of videos on tying in a peep...some pretty similar tbh, but I like the look and explanation so going with this method. In all my years of shooting I never really gave it much thought but after accidently dry firing my bow last week and having my peep hit me between the eyes, I figure it's time to take it more serious and do a better job. Oh yeah and I lost a nice peep too boot. Anyway....well done !!

    Noticed in your video you set your nocking point with a square without having your rest on the bow. Would be interested in a step by step on how you do it. Also talking through making adjustments to the cables during tuning. Thanks for what you do for the archery community.

  • @WhitetailFit

    @WhitetailFit

    2 жыл бұрын

    I’ll make sure an touch deeper on these things in my RX7 build! I set the nocking point directly through the center of the Berger hole (where the rest bolts to) from there I am pretty well squared up and can make fine adjustments with the rest if needed. As far as the cables it’s fairly simple when reading your draw stops if it is off one cam will be working harder than the other. Putting twists in or out of a cable will affectively lengthen or shorten the cable which will allow the given cam to turn sooner or later.
