    I run this peep and as an "older" 😆 archery, these make seeing the pins and the target WAYYY better. Love the versatility. The easiest way to get the clarifier in is to press it in on a flat surface. Plus you don't smudge the clarifier (or drop it!! 🤐). Housing comes in purple! Great vid on the peep ties!

    In case anyone wants a better understanding of how to finish that 2nd knot it is called a rizzuto finish. I've used it for 10 plus years in some of my fishing knots For connecting braid to Mono

    The 37 degree is for shorter bows axle to axle and the 45 is for longer bows axle to axle

    I really like the second knot, very clean approach. I had been using one by Dudley where the first half of it is comprised of half hitches and the second half like yours, I'm going to give this a try.

    That second tie in is how a lot of recurve archers tie nock points. When you tie that on serving (like you would for a recurve nock point), you can actually turn the knot up and down the servings like you would a bolt. Very handy knot to know.

    The last knot that loops backwards and conceals the tag end is call ‘Rizzuto Finish’. I use it all the time for fishing also (how I finish my FG Knots).

    I know I’m a little late but what my cousin does is he draws his bow back to his draw length with a broadhead on it to see how much room he has with the arrow, cuts it where it feels comfortable, and then makes sure all of his other arrows are the same length. Not sure what he uses though.

    Put your clarifier on the table and press the reducer into the clarifier. That's how I've been doing it

    I went to my local archery shop and bought a Mission Hammr. We installed the peep, and when I look through the peep, I see the quiver. Yes, I’m looking through my right eye (in right handed), and he had me draw back and I am not torquing the bow. Anybody else ever had this issue?

    Sunday I had a 6x6 at 38 yds and my peep was sideways where I couldn’t look through it at all. So disappointing.

    Grab the sight and twist it and the same with the d loop. I've had that problem before. Hook you release on and apply a little pressure and straight them to each other.

    With the older/original podium peep the lens don't snap into the aperture. You drop the lens into the peep and then screw the aperture in. This one the lens snaps into the aperture and then you screw the "unit" into the peep.

    Good video, I don’t agree with the high end peep in a hunting rig, seems like it’s extra thing you have to worry about during a hunt. A 5/16 peep fits nicely around most hunting size sights at full draw. Most of those adjustable peeps add weight on the string which slows the bow down.

There are far more reasons to not put those peeps in a hunting rig, than support doing it, speed being a small reason.

    Whats your draw length and arrow length? Im running 300 spine VAP SS and i always wonder if im under-spined but i even called VAP and asked them. Im shooting out of an Rx-1 at 74# draw and 29.5” DL. And i know those cams are pretty aggressive i hope that spine is OK like they say because those arrows are nottt cheap

    If you're running some pretty good weight up front, you might wanna go to a 250 spine. It all depends on your tears of course tho

    @@mikeguy9668 im only running 60 grains total up front for inserts. Then 100 grain heads. Ethics insert and collar/sleeve. Came in at like 485 grains total arrow weight if i remember correct. Lightest arrow build yet but these things are freaking durable as all get out for how small diameter they are. The insert and sleeve combo im using is a big part of that. Even with being aluminum. Really bummed i couldnt tag a deer yet with them to see performance on an animal. I tagged one with the muzzle loader but not the bow this year

    @@Orr_s from what you said, my educated guess is that you're not underspined. Not enough weight up front, not even at that poundage and length. I'm guessing your arrow is 30.5" probably?

    @@mikeguy9668 i cut them as short as possible while still being clear of the launcher on my rest but…so from the end of insert and collar to the back of my rear cut, not the knock. They are 29.5”

    im confused, why are we putting lens' in peeps? they make the pin or the target blurry depending on the users eyesight? huh, why would we want a lens ? just look through the peep, line up the target and shoot!! we are over complicating things here people!!
