I have personally seen this method of grafting! Purpose: 2 roots rather than 1 to the same plant sends more nutrients! Secondly if the yield is high, two roots will support the plant better from heavy wind! Thanks Brother Sokha Chetra for your wonderful video and explanation! Keep up the good work!!

Thanks! In the first part of the video, after grafting did you use a special planting medium for the bag? It looks different from the black pot’s soil. Also, would this have been a good time to cut the main roots as shown in a previous video to assure female gender?

Make sure the bag is big enough for the plan to grow. yes , you can cut 50% of the main root to make it short and turn to be a female one

Just slice one side of the papaya tree that you put into another one. Make sure the peel is at the same level .

Male papaya plant have long flower and give no fruit. Flowers will all drop to the ground
