Step-by-step: Converting a Putzmeister Concrete Pump for High-Pressure Pumping:

Step-by-step, we switch the hydraulics on this 13HPD Putzmeister pump kit from rod side (low-pressure), to piston side (high-pressure) in preparation to pump a 50 story high rise.

A few pig mats under those hoses before disconnecting could save some cleanup. 👋🏼 a fan from East Van.

Bendiciones colega el contenido educativo en bombas de concreto es algo genial pero pues hay personas que no aprenden por qué tienen el cerebro por baja presión lo que es más práctica en campo y poco conocimiento solo boton😅😅

I believe concord makes a hp pump with a key switch to go from high to low pressure. It is achieved with logic valves.

Would be an awesome feature, especially for these boom pumps which occasionally plug into high rise for pumping off the back end.

The 38m that was up top had regular metric pipes/clamps, saw 180+ bar piston pressure, 320ish rod side. Even after showing videos, nobody cared...

Piston pressure =/= concrete pressure though?

Actually had a conversation with someone just today about this. A BSA 14000 at less than 40 stories has potential to apply much more pressure than the standard metric pipe/clamps on the placing boom is rated for. We always set the electronic limiter to no more than what is required for the pour. It’s a good discussion which topic for a future livestream.

@canadianconcretepumper1979 I castrated the machine with the electronics every pour. Start low and increase as needed. 510' vertical, plus a 38m, pushing JACKED chemical 12k psi material, required the machines pressure to be turned up quite a bit. Definitely a nerve racking experience..

Keep it at 135 bar. Then you will have the most efficient putzmachine in the whole wide world! Tell the concrete guys to shut up and take whatever they are served from the end hose😊 I can help you change the stickers on the pipes😂
