I'm pretty sure the 35GB only refers to how much data is stored on the BD. Like with all the other games you buy on disc, there's gonna be a sizeable file download attached to it, as well.

Also thanks for the heads up, got the digital deluxe and also got the physical copy now, to support Based devs like these.

Seems like these devs actually used Kraken compression. Also audio takes up a lot more space then we realize, if the game is dubbed in multiple languages they might require you to download other languages separately rather than including all the languages from the get go. .

Jedi Survivor was on Unreal Engine 4 as well. I would assume Stellar Blade used the kraken compressor on PS5 better since they got dev support from Playstation. Or maybe they put the audio files for the main language on disc and you`ll have to download the others if you really want other dubs, but thats just speculation. Still a bit low at 35. Hope that 'more than 35GB' is a lot more than 35

Elden Ring takes up 51GB on PS5 and that is a HUGE game. I'm sure we'll get another 5-10GB per download, so I wouldn't worry too much about it!

Nikke draws you in with the incredible designs of beautifully illustrated women but keeps you playing with its compelling story, fun combat, and well written characters. I have a feeling Stellar Blade will match that incredibly well.

All file size means is the developers were skilled in compressing the size perfect example Yakuza 5 has tons of content in it game is only 38gbs meanwhile Cod any sports game or sony exclusive is over 100 gbs and you can beat the game in 8-12hrs

Ive been playing NIKKE since the beta and i havent dropped it since. So hearing shift up was making a game i was already hyped. Now that i have my preorder lord i cant wait for Stellar Blade. Hope we get an Eve banner in NIKKE.NIKKE is 100% more than just the ASSets. Great characters and a great story

I don't think so Dark souls on x360 was 3gb, even the remaster isn't that huge more than that, so it depends on the game and the way it was done, the file size doesn't worry me.

2:08 Too bad you haven't played Destiny Child before it was shut down. It was a great mobile game as well. Just wasn't making nearly enough money as Nikke.

Shfit Up also made a game called destiny child which is a underrated gacha that gotten shut down last year or around late 2022 due to focusing on NIKKE during that time yes the girls are pretty but the game actually give you a bunch of item material or summon gems just by logging in sometimes and the destiny child story isn't even that bad to begin with

35gb is awesome but I dont think the full game is on the disc. when I get the game im going to do a offline disc download test to see if there's a day one patch

Im still not sure wich Edition i should buy in General i want that game physical but that means to not have every outfit to get every outfit im forced to spend 90eu and Digital only that sucks. Im honestly pissed there is no special Edition physical with all the outfit stuff....

The bonus skins in the deluxe are not great. And probably a recolor of something you can have in game. The most important imo is the pre-order bonus and you can have it with the physical edition. I would not be surprised is they add a deluxe upgrade dlc in the future anyway.

All, I want to know is can Eve pet her droid companion just like 2B can pet her pod in NieR;Automata.

I play BDO in ultra, it's kind of an mmo version of this game-play wise, but the story of this game looks awesome. I can't wait!

35 gb is too small specially if you expect the game to be lot of deep exploration ? maybe it a linear gameplay and just semi open world but this is good for someone w limited SSD space for PS5 owner or even HDD space if this port to PC in the future?

I would not take a disk version as walk the file size of the for the digital version as part of the game will be on that probably 100 something gigabyte disk. There’s a reason PlayStation went Blu-ray.

35 gigs is quite low, thats surprising, there are compression and procedural texturing techniques that the devs might be using to keep quality high while not using much space, could be what they are doing, and wish devs would actually utilize those techniques more often. Like the 150+ gigs for Final Fantasy 7 rebirth seems a bit excessive.

You can always just watch the campaign and event stories online. And if its kind of kid for thats cool. There's always the music fron Nikke which slaps. Again, if its not for you thats cool too

Man the gameplay is just like Final Fantasy 7! And Guilty Gear! And Street Fighter! and Grandblue Relink! and Nioh! and etc.... You fill up your gauge to preform some kind of ultimate ability!

I've heard this game doesn't have good graphics & is "too shiney" but it looks pretty realistic to me as far as human faces go.

The physical copy don't matter. It's a digital code on a hard disk that installs once it's inserted and can't run without PSN online services. So in 20 years your PS5 physical games won't even work anyways.

As the director said, they had to choose between PC PS5 and Xbox, because they only have enough resources to support one system. From that reasoning, I'd say it's more likely to come to Xbox first, but because Sony funded them, you might wait a lot longer for PC and probably never for Xbox. I mean, they're not Square Enix. Thus, risk-reward is shifted in Sony's favor.
