Only things that feel good about this game are graphics and smooth UI. This game was advertised as combat focused but you are mashing left click most of the time, even Genshin feels better and Wuwa being best combat experience. Can't use MC in combat. Can't use 5 star characters you pull in overworld. The TV thing is just annoying to play. The main story doesn't have that initial hooking point like Dvalin in Genshin, Herta station fight in HSR and Crownless first encounter. There is a skip button but half of scenes can't be skipped.

Enjoying the game a lot so far Lofi, retro urban 90's aesthetics, comics, rogue like mode and not overly complicated and smooth combat Everything i like, i could stick to this game even only for the vibes because it reminds me of some games from 2010s I played and enjoyed when i was younger

@@NITIN-gn9wd For me personally Genshin will always stay my favourite, but I enjoy ZZZ a lot too and I actually see myself playing it for quite a while! WuWa is great too, but it’s just not the right game for me sadly. Idk why everyone is trashing so much on ZZZ, the game is amazing! Yeah, it’s not nearly as hard as WuWa (at least in my opinion), but I’m actually happy about that :) It’s very casual and also doesn’t take much of your time which I find awesome :D Edit: And I agree, it’s soooo cozy!

It took me like 3 minutes to load, every time I encountered an enemy to fight. And the real fight usually ends in 1 minute in the early game... It's kinda hard not to hate a game, with a boring gameplay in it...

This might cure who has insomnia

Said it in several other posts but I will keep it short this time. “A master con artist can make something visually appealing, but can never deliver an actual quality product, with no catches.” Essentially, just like GenStingie, Zerolazy we’re all about delivering a product that looks appealing, but has no proper substance to back it up. Because when you look at BOTH honkai impact 3rd, star rails and hell, even gunGirlZ, they all had some actual substance in one way or another to provide something. Not just misleading fluff, but actual product to enjoy. Never the less, still can’t hold a candle to KUROgames who can just have several thesis papers written based on Punishing gray raven OR Wuthering waves, on delivering a proper damn 5 course meal in numerous ways.~

Major 2 high light problems besides the extra other stuff is the fact TV world is still massively present and the enemies in Z3 apparently are even slower then Honkai impact 3rd enemies. Very sure those Samurai zombies and Emperor class honkai beasts do more attacks then the `diet lite` Ruins guard from Genshite and i still remember those attacks alot even to this day because they also had a bit more movement in them despite being several year old content and had more then maybe one or two attack animations. And if i were to get more indepth, i dont like how the characters seem to slide back and often repeatedly and clearly look like you didnt parry in some cases, just got multi-shoved back in chains so much that you must of been just pushing and holding a button to guard. Atleast if i were to do the P:GR comparson, it looks more like any normal enemies/bosses with parry attacks are the ones getting PUSHED BACK when i parry thar arses. Seriously, Punishing Gray raven which basically started that norm of parrying in it, the Hetero Hive: MOTHER boss fight, straight up is a giant freaking orb spider that swings like a wrecking ball at you and spin around to slash the crap out of you and actually punishes you for repeated failures to parry its attacks by summoning a DoT heavy damage Rain that covers almost the entire arena. And throw in the fact i am seeing plenty ALSO complaining about visual sickness, and even in the few videos i got to see actual full on gameplay in the combat, even I got visually sick somehow...really goes to show how bad ZZZ was. Seriously, they should of just took all that damn budget they wasted on ZZZ and just give Honkai impact 3rd its A post honkay odyssey chapter 3 that they blue balled for so long, despite the massive cliff hanger they left that on, for years at this point. Hell, the budget and resources they wasted on Z3 could of honestly just went to genshite to make its combat more `involved` then how stagnant it was and integrated parrying and proper dodge animations, proper lock on and just redo all its damn bosses to have more commitment and less standing around. Wuthering waves already proved you can have lock ons (despite camera issues), actual dodging, dodge countering, parrying, much more expressive `character switching and moar, so they should of just fixed one game instead of introducing a FIFTH(technically 4th if you dont count Gun girls Z) title in the portfolio of gacha games which just means even more terrible game saturation, more resources acquired from revenue in other games split up and more time and effort wasted when they would of been better off just expanding the team size for Gen`stingie and give that game an overhaul instead period. Also examples like Phantasy Star online 2: New genesis exists where they can easily take the same game engine(mostly) and have an entirely different gameplay style from the core gameplay. Plus theres also once again, Honkai impact 3rd`s APHO, which is technically a vastly different gameplay format that Mihoyo simply got lazy for its later story stuff and basically put more APHO into the main game especially after 6.4.

The first impression and after i played it gives the feelings of nostalgia, from the combats, gacha and the way of interaction and others like those around year 2012 or 2011 games we play.

People really getting their zero-attention-span mind melted when presented with 2d traversal rougelike puzzle sections 😂. Combat is serviceable and can be improved, but overall a decent game, plus you’re really gonna be playing this game for the hyper-stylized aesthetic. idk why people are hating too much on it, they probably we’re expecting something like elden ring 2 or whatever 😂

Playing ZZZ reminds me of that time I play Persona 4 for the first time I don't think I will play this game often but damn I like it a lot. The Aesthetic, chara design, art direction and overall game feel great and unlike any Gacha game I've played. Honestly I wish they just sell this game as stand alone AAA game instead of f2P gacha game

At this point hoyo should make a triple A game, they need to learn from Shift Up. They've been in comfortable zone far too long it's time for them to step up to the next level. Oh.. Btw the game is 5hit.. Thank you 🗿

I don't like it. The combat is just not satisfying. Too easy, enemies are slow. Parry can be done without any skill involved, zero risk. Parry mechanic is better just not exist at all. Most of the time it's TV. I thought people said they already reduced the TV part in CBT3. The artstyle is good but not my preference. The story seems fine to me. I think other than combat, I don't have any problem. For the gacha system itself, I don't care tbh. Should have just go with another genre game, maybe a casual one like slice of life which focus on the story instead of trying to be the same as HI3. > Made ZZZ > Made HI3 part 2 They are lost in direction. I thought ZZZ is supposed to be the next level combat of HI3. Looks like a downgrade in my honest opinion

Personally I really like this game. I just play it as a chill game, hacking around and solving TVs when I have time to kill. The lofi vibe feels very comfy. Genshin honestly feels more like a chore now.

Haven't tried this game because the specifications req, but looks like a game you want to play as casual and just to fill or enjoy your free time. Just hope the real in game music theme is this kind of soundtrack lol

Most of the time they don't do anything like a sponge. Parrying mechanics is BS. There is zero risk involved in parrying. It's a TV simulator game. They should just make ZZZ as a slice of life with focus on the story. The artstyle is nice even though it's not exactly my preference. They should be able to make a good story based on their past work before. But, instead of that, they decided to make another HI3 but worse. 50GB+ for this kind of combat is disappointing.

Honestly, i like the ui in this game. Really reminds me of the funky and really stylish persona 5 ui But.. i'd rather play hi3rd or pgr than this Honestly the biggest downside ( i don't know the correct word for it ) for me is the size, why the fuck it is bigger than some of double a game Shit, even bigger than some triple a game mate, wth. Even wuwa is much smaller in term of game size than this

Graphic is great, gameplay/combat is meh. It's not even comparable to HI3 combat. Unlike HSR, I don't like turn based but there something about it makes me want to play more. ZZZ just make me want to stop playing even when I got character I want. The story also doesn't feel that interesting to me.

I say treat it more like a side game rather than a main game. I know a lot of players expected this to be more main game focus by design but ZZZ felt to me even before release that it was going to be designed more for a side game experience rather than a main game experience.

I mean, it's not atrocious, quite the decent game, it's just... Let's just say that, since they're mostly the same genre, I would not quit PGR for this (no, I'm not playing both, too many gachas already), more so now that PGR next patch will let me walk around as MC and stuff.

I had a bug that made it impossible,the whole world was just black and i couldn't even see the furniture so i always get blocked....the characters and the cutscene was fine,but the moment i had to explore or fight, everything was just black

I played for like a few hours and so far it's okay for me. If I can put it to words probably like Honkai Impact 3rd being Genshin-fied(?), that's how I feel about it. I feel more hooked on how the story will unfold rather than the gameplay. As a casual the combat is pretty easy compared to HI3rd and some other ARPG I've played before. For me, this game is just another Honkai Impact 3rd. Idk I'm still new to these gacha games and stuff and only been playing those genre for like 3 years as I usually play non gacha JRPG, MMORPG and Visual Novel game in the past. Well... The game's free can't complain much but I hope there's an improvement. Also the games run smooth on my potato device unlike WuWa, don't get me wrong, I love WuWa but my device isn't capable of handling WuWa even on the very very low setting (still stutter and lag).

It is, you will fell asleep after 30 minutes. The gameplay is boring and not challenging enough. And if you think rank up your difficulty from normal to hardest and expect to have different move sets from boss you absolutely wrong, they just increase their health to get more "challenging". But if you into casula play, you can try it.

I don't know, I liked it a lot... I watched all the dialogue it's almost like watching a slice of life anime.. The gameplay is laid back which I also like.. If I wanted to play with high difficulty combat i would play Elden Ring or something..

The environment and stuff is great, specially the city and stuff but this shit gave me migraine

I have no plans of playing this but I don't understand why some think that this game is bad. I do understand that not everybody is pleased with the combat or gameplay but I see that this universe is presented really well. And on the similar mihoyo fashion it's also an anime-styled game but set in an alternate reality, which is personally a little more appealing to me than sci-fi. Combat gameplay looks like your typical hack-and-slash which is button mashing most of the time, which is also not my thing. Some might say that the combat is the "heart" of this game but I disagree, everything in the game is interconnected with each other and doesn't only revolve on combat. If I remove the current hack-and-slash combat mechanic, replace it with simple moves and turn this into an RPG, I'll bet that this will still be a decent game. Other in-game activities looks good for me at least; very casual, comfy and not sweaty. Not excited about the story though but I might hear what lore content creators would say that I might found intriguing. The world building though, this has much potential to get a better story adaptation in anime than Genshin in my opinion so even I'm not playing this I might stick around to learn how this universe would expand. Overall, I think this might be a good side game because they have games inside the game which is great for someone who might try to play this casually and want to immerse in an anime-style alternate reality. If combat is your thing then I think this game won't be satisfying enough to relieve your itch for a great combat experience thus I highly recommend to look up for games out there that emphasizes more on that and try which ones suits you the best.

From what I seen so far, it is the usual case of not having enough gameplay and action to cover hours of gameplay daily.. In my opinion I saw this game was never going to build up a larger community compared to open world games because it is designed for a small niche audience being the small instance but quick casual gameplay group. A lot of players are looking more for a much long term hours on end game that can easily average game time of 2 hours or more per day.

I mean even the director himself said that this game will be a combat focused game with "easy to learn but hard to master" gameplay, yet when you're actually playing the game and fight, it feels like a watered down version of HI3rd, AG, and PGR, if they polished more of the side things instead of their so called combat focused game, then why did the director even mentioned it in the first place?

@@orrthehunter That's how mihoyo game works, gameplay is just 'good enough' for the majority of players and being primarily a mobile phone game then the expected gameplay loop can be done in more or less than an hour. The focus of their marketing is in the universe and the characters. And while characters have unique combat mechanics, they emphasize too on their personality and likeability. ZZZ being set in an alternate reality, the cast of characters are vast and is not limited to humans as half-human half-monsters too are also in the mix which is a new direction from their other games.

@@TerkoizRHG I'm not aware with those statements but if they said so then it's likely that it's the expected direction of their combat gameplay. This is just a primer so maybe they're letting players have a good feel of their game before pulling all the stops. But I myself can't think much about what mastering a hack-and-slash game can give if the emphasis is only on timing and pattern reading. I haven't quite understand fully the intricacies of the combat so maybe there are aspects like resource management or combat effects at play. I don't know, time can only tell.

ZZZ for a reason

Tbh it got Persona vibes, I kinda want to play it just bcus of Grace but I got too many gachas to play (8) it just seems that HI3rd and PGR is better to me.

Everyone has mixed opinions on this game, so I figured I’d give mine. The combat mechanics are extremely overwhelming, the story is bland, and you can’t even use the characters you pulled for half the time. However, it’s an alright game. I’ve seen a few comments mention it being more of a side game though, and I’d have to agree. I also feel like there’s too much going on yet also not enough happening at the same time. Honestly though, I’m probably going to stay for Billy and hopefully get Von. Nonetheless, I think I’m still going to stick closer to Genshin.

Everything is virtual.. Why playing game inside a game?

Feel like this game should only on console? On phone play something else

It whould be cool if we had during day anime school life and during night anime hero life

Love the music, love the gameplay. But I hate that tv traversal, way too slow. and unfortunately it's part of main gameplay 🙄

So its lke a solo leveling platformer game (idk what that type of games are called hack and slash maybe but no open world)

skip all story, speed 2x on tvs, im all for the combat only 😂

I didn't feel a jolt of excitement whilst playing this game. Graphics are good enough. VA are also fine. Combat is just okay. Enemy design is pretty mid tbh . Character designs are good but u can't really tell who's S tier and who's A tier . There's lack of distinction. there's a lot to figure out rn . Since too much text to read . Currently taking my time to get used to it. But my hopes aren't high atm with this game.
