I never pre order, did it once and the game was trash so I don’t risk it anymore. However since this game is such a middle finger to sweet baby inc, esg, and uglification of women in games I think I will vote early with my dollars too….game looks like a blast

So glad they didn't go full open-world. Feels like so many triple A titles try to be open world and end up empty and bland. Very few games accomplish it effectively. I prefer this balance of linear storyline with some open world elements thrown in for Stellar Blade. Also Eve being able to fish basically cements this game as GOATED.

Stellar Blade ❤ the ONLY game we NEED 👍

I need to get more hours at my job so I can preorder this game I bought hell divers2 and I need to make a extra buck to be able to pick up stellar blade

The best way I've been able to compare it's structure is "Rise" or "Shadow of the Tomb Raider". Essentially you have a linear opening mission that leads you to the "Hub". From this "Hub", you'll be greeted with various NPCs and side-quests. Going "forward" brings you to various areas, if an area is story related, it'll bring you further away from the Hub. These areas can be revisited later for collectibles and farming various mobs for items, although there may be some "differences" than when you first went through (structures may be destroyed, you may need to move around in a different manner than during the story, etc). Side-Quests will bring you through these various areas, so as you unlock more of the map as you progress the story, more quests will be centered around these new areas. I would imagine if NieR: Automata was an influence on it's structure, we'd expect far more "open areas" than "linear corridors" as we saw with the Tomb Raider Reboot Series. - Also, side-note, that "Link Ability" is likely those "flashy finishing moves" we've been seeing a lot of. It's likely there will be "smaller" versions of the finishers that do a lot of damage but may not kill the enemy outright, where as then there are the more "flashy finishers" that we see. The combat is nothing like NieR: Automata... I don't know where people are getting that. Automata uses a medium + heavy attack, depending on weapons the combo strings are different, but generally it's more about dodging and dishing ridiculous amounts of button mashing during openings. Don't get me wrong, there are "combos", like launchers and aerials, but it's not Bayonetta with a far more "character action" style gameplay, with fighting game style combos, and crazy wild abilities. I don't have a good judge yet how Stellar Blade's combat is. From what I've seen, the dodging is very "Bayonetta", with the slowdown effect, so it isn't spammy Automata style, the combos feel closer to Nier, but not as "frantic", the abilities are more like Action JRPG style (that one 4 hit combo attack that can be done in succession for example), then there's the range combat, I can't remember the game, but there was a similar third person action game that had a similar style of range combat, the way you get up-close, like it's over the shoulder, how the reticle aiming is, I might edit this comment if I remember.

Side-note: NieR: Automata's combat can get incredibly complex, but it's mostly one of those "outliers". No one is doing infinite combo rotations with 9S, that's something people picked up long after the game was released. There are "tricks" and "timing orientated" nuances that can show the difference between a pro and a casual player, but it's closer to someone who can speedrun vs someone who can't, you'll never see or accidentally do these sorts of mythical moves in a normal playthrough due to how asinine it is and because the game probably wasn't even originally designed to do that, it's an artifact of the systems. The other thing is Automata focuses far heavily on NOT taking damage, like "PERIOD" on anything higher than Normal. It's far more about positioning, dodging, and incredibly quick paced fights that require understanding of the boss's patterns and when to spam dodge. (There's also those random occassions where you get caught in bullet hell.). Oh ALSO, did anyone notice the BULLET HELL MOMENT? There was an old gameplay trailer where the boss was firing dozens of orbs at Eve, I question whether that's only specific bosses, or maybe a one-time deal.

Keep in mind. Devil may cry 5 and fairy tail on PS4 got censored after the game came out. So its possible that the game could get censored during its day 1 patch or a different patch. Keep an eye out on them "assets" in case they stop jiggling or even get reduced

It's so refreshing for a game to be made with CLEAR aspects aimed at people who love fun games. So many haters are focused on the hottie but there's so much more to this game that make it above & beyond most modern games nowadays

Oh my God, all of those games that they mentioned that they took key references of I love and played every single one of those games and Neir automata is my favorite. I played almost 250 hours of that game but this is amazing. I can’t wait to get my hands on this. There was fishing in Neir also.

This is the best game of the year for sure! ❤️‍🔥 I just would have liked it to have a 120fps mode (even at 1080p). Last hope is for the eventual PC version someday (hopefully completely unlocked fps)

The director of Stellar Blade said in a a Korean interview that there will be a version that comes with soundtrack or Stellar Blade USB (not sure what USB it is). I am not sure if it is a pre-order bonus or an actual limited edition though. Also not sure if it pertains to all regions or Korea version only. The official pre-order of physical disc version launches March 1st so we will see. Hopefully they will have a limited edition available.

Isn't link's ability to dodge an attack than instantly go in for an attack so I would suspect it be in there as some gameplay show her dodging and instantly go in a follow up attack

Given their uncompromised (or at least seemingly uncompromised, we don't really know every conversation that happened behind closed doors) approach to what they want their main character to be, and the fact they've been influenced by some of gaming's greatest achievements, I really hope people cut them a little slack when it comes to bugs and in any way the game isn't necessarily pitch perfect. I know they had Sony backing them and they've made other games before, but this is their first console release, so therefore their first time really grappling with what it takes to make a console release vs making a mobile game - they're completely different animals. Hopefully the attitude towards the game will be similar to something like Warframe, where new aspects of the game might be buggy and unrefined, but the community has their back because they buy into DE's vision. I also think I speak for all the fellas here when I say yes, Eve is gorgeous, but unless the game is good, it won't sell. I really hope it is good though.

Bayonetta and Sekiro play extraordinarily different but if Neir is the motivation i'd expect it to be like Bayonetta. I think the video even showed time dilation.

I hope there will be some feedback from the controller during attacks. That will really give her attacks some heft. This is really missing from some games and especially ones where you use giant weapons. You would expect there to be some feedback when swinging a huge sword.

The one thing i do want is like a bloody palace(dmc 5) or a ninja trials ( ninja gaiden) where you go through like 100 plus floors of non stop fighting. Thats gonna really show case the combat and for all the try hards (like myself) Nier automata had it too so im expecting content like that. There better be lots of combat!!

it may be that we find some costumes, achievements unlock some, quests reward some but there may be say 5-10 we only get by crafting

I don't give a shit how stupid people say it is, being able to go fishing in any game is awesome, and second to only the real thing but actually having beautiful ladies again is awesome to. loving this god damn more and more every time new info comes out.

We seriously need another Metal Gear Rising related game. And in two months we are going to get it!!

Maybe it will surpass Nier Automata...

Not all of them are that hard since there's Sonic Frontiers where all you have to do is press a button at the right time, but I don't know any examples that are easy besides that one.

Fishing mini game are my favorite hobby because fishing reminds me of my late grandfather always loved fishing in lake that early morning until 3 pm home during my childhood day in 80s to 90s. That why I always buy many games including fishing mini-games.

I love that it's rated M but I'm kind of mad too because I know it's going to get my channel age restricted 😅.

The combat looks like Black Desert Online but janky. 😅

Well the land here looks bare but I think that's justified with the setting/story. Forspoken is a whole fantasy world yet the world is so empty and horizon has nature everywhere so it makes sense it would be more scenic.
