Get with the times. I think it’s funny how some say she has an unrealistic body when that body is made from a real model. I’m convinced so many in the US here don’t want attractive characters. That “oversexualized” excuse is tired.

Their skin-tight costumes look too sexy? I think those costumes just look similar to the gym wears that most of the modern women wearing inside a gym. Apart from the sci-fi style, nothing special. For those who complaint about the costumes that look too sexy or unreal, they should go to the local gym more often.

We've done this song and dance before. The first Bayonetta game came out in 2009. I remember how much critique people gave Platinum over her looks. It's amazing how digital booty can live rent free in people's minds after 15 years. I'll definitely pick up Stellar on day 1.

As handheld gaming fits my lifestyle better. however stellar Blade definitely changed that for me completely. Honestly if it ever get ported to the next generation of the switch 🥰 ( unlikely however I’d honestly love to be able to play Stellar Blade on the go) I’d buy the game a second time.. kinda wish a special edition was available because I’d definitely buy it… have not been this excited for a new game sense the N64 days with super Mario

Rebirth is a fucking disappointment with its graphics.

It's crazy how they just give people what they want (and with people I mean their customers, not the ones that complain about everything and never would've bought it anyway). The gameplay looks good, the character isn't a depiction of a 9-5 daily double cheeseburger consumer, the outfits are earned in-game (you know they could've made them MTX purchases and they would've sold very well) and the music is made by the composer for Nier:Automata, Keiichi Okabe. I will be very surprised if we don't get at least 1 or 2 very memorable tracks in the game.

If people are irritated and tired of wokesism and censorship being present in many modern day games. Then these people NEED to BUY and SUPPORT this game, because if the game sells well, more game developers will consider putting stuff like this in it. And I'm really hoping content creators do their part and continue to PROMOTE the game up until it's release. Since this game is an opportunity for change of the console gaming industry to go back to what it was. Let's try and utilize it.

I don't think it has anything to do with so called "wokeism" (whatever that means). There are cultural differences between countries and different standards of political correctness. I think the criticism is blown out of proportion in general, just a few xitter users. I've seen nothing but hype for the game.

In the game world it’s always been cool to see a young girl character destroy a huge powerful enemy with intense power. Like final fantasy for example. She’s a badass, while look good I might add.

2:18 when you hear “For a modern audience” you already know what that means.

I still don't understand what the modern audience is cause it sure ain't the activist. Those people never support the games champion and we watch those games go down in flames.

Truth is Sex sells! Why do you think it is so popular? lets just be real. Men love the idea of playing this game period! Ill buy it just to experience how they did it. The hate is just blowing this thing up more and more

This is a game for a real modern audience.

These type of games have been around a loooong time. A game where you control an attractive female and have a back-side view as she runs around in the game. The original Tomb Raider on the first Playstation was popular for this. There have been countless games like this since.

You said exactly what I've been asking. They had no problems with Nier and Bayo but for some reason they do with this game. Some of the same people complaining probably even have mand enjoy those other games. But the easy part is that they don't even have to buy the game if they don't like it so much. They could just ignore the game and yet they're spending time making and editing videos to complain about it.

Because those people want the game to fail, well, based on the pre-orders, the chances of that of ever happening is pretty low, in my estimation.

It’s almost like you could make games and movies for adults and use some sort of rating system or something. Oh yeah…

The only controversy im upset about, its very first announcement said for pc and consoles. Its a korean company, pc dominates korea. Then a year later sony baught a timed exclusive... suprised that was barely talked about.

I was drawn to Stella blade because of how her hair moved. Didn't even know about the booty until I heard about the controversy. Her hair moved like the scarf in a game called Shinobi. I say, fuck the haters. I came for the hair, and stayed for the booty.

I just love that sort of hairstyle, and while Eve has a ponytail (Again. Hope since I heard you can also change her hairstyle, the game will have a straight down long hair with the bangs) I just love her bangs with her amazing dark hair.

If your going to Buy Stellar Blade, for collectors, buy the import Korean and Japanese imports, the Deluxe and limited editions sealed and unopened packages, if possible also buy a used copy to play the game without opening the sealed/ unopened collectables!

Bravo developers well done they did good job!

it's so weird when people criticize the female protagonist about her looks and aren't even bothered from blood , monsters aliens etc or other stuff from the game or any other game. Doesn't make any sense at all . Stellar Blade will rise in the game industry! We want unique and beautiful characters.! Damn..People need to grow up and not focus on those things.

When I have the choice, I choose the female option and/or in a character generator, I make the hottest female character I can. I'm not 'identifying' as female, I want to spend 100 hours looking at a character that I like looking at.

Props to devs telling critics like digital foundry " FUCK YOU". I love it. Great content!

My only gripe is that there's no physical deluxe/collectors edition

The wild, fast-paced gameplay mixed with the unique enemy design is what drew me in right away when I first saw the trailer. As long as it plays well and the story is interesting, then everything else is a bonus and a non-issue imo.

It is great, after playing Elden Ring, now we've got this fast paced combat hack n slash.

Man that game is going to be a blast. Not only because of the character. I like the skating scenes and the sci fi setting. And because of the character it just feels like a video game. Simple escapism. Man i missed those. No pandering no nothing

is there even enough game to warrant 30 costumes?.....i hope they have like a post game battle arena or challenges, so you can experience them all at your on pace :) but yeah 30 sounds amazing for a action game.

And Yoko Taro praised Stellar Blade . . . . I was already buying it but I guess I'm buying disc and digital. 😅

I can appreciate that they're focusing on the backside cause he's right that that's what we're gonna see most of the time, but don't skip out on the front either instead focus on her full body in it's entirety.

Me too, not locking myself into Star Wars feels like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders 😅

I love Devil may Cry, Bayonetta, Neir Automata, Metal Gear revenge and other hyper action games and yeah she is gorgeous if a girl like her liked me yeah I would live and die for her especially since she seems be lovely too and the that proper British voice so posh and elegant.

Some people go clammering for realism and characters of realistic proportions in their games, and while (first of all) Eve IS realistic because she is modeled after an actual real life Korean model, videogames are a fantasy, so why wouldn't you want your avatar to be someone of higher physical beauty standard than what you normally see? I mean sure, there is absolutely room in the industry for characters that look average but there is f***ing also room for beauty bombs like this.

I'm pretty sure it will. Horizon forbidden West is already coming to PC next month and the expiring date for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth ends on May. So, I believe this game will come to PC, but stays as a PS5 exclusive.

I will not say this game has the potential for GOTY by any means, but what it *stands for* is the most important aspect. It stands for gamers being sick of getting jerked around by those woke agendas of western gaming studios, being on their knees and sucking the ESG dry for social credit. It's shameful. And Stellar Blades stands up against all that nonsense and is providing gamers with a legitimate *larger than life* experience. And that is *exactly* what games should do!

Never have I seen so much care and attention to detail put into the cake. The art team are real ones for that.

I'll back the devs and commend them for not backing down! We deserve this protagonist and I'm sure a NETFLIX animated series (after a couple of years) will be received WARMLY by the fans.

If the gorgeous protagonist was the ONLY thing going for it and/or if the character model that Eve is based on wasnt equally as beautiful, then I could understand why people could have an issue. Time will tell when we get our hands on it, but this game looks awesome and maybe the haters should just wait to see if the content of something is good before they bury it.

I worry that the hype is getting unrealistic at this point. The chararacter design is top notch but it is unknown how fun it is to actually play. That said, since it is a PlayStation exclusive and given the preload date, at least it should be easier to make it actually run fine at launch unlike so many AAA titles that went cross-platform even when they weren't ready.

Back in the 00s we had stuff like the Victoria Secret models being on TV all of the time. I always liked to see pretty females and saw them as inspiration while growing up. I never realized that having something as basic as attractive men and women in pop culture would become frowned upon. Stellar Blade is like coming across a chilled glass water in a dry desert.

I will forever be devastated and offended for having to look at that Fable 3 girl even once.

Palworld for XBOX and Stellar Blade For PS5 is starting to get real good for us real gamer.

I just want to play it because it reminds me of ninja gaiden it looks like a 10/10 to me

As someone who spent 2/3 of my 60 year-long life as a game dev, this is so refreshing to see. Games are supposed to be escapism and if there is one thing I really want to escape from in a game, it's the things I see on UK TV and UK Streets. Westernised entertainment is going to end up with every female lead/protagonist looking like Maude from GTA V, so I am delighted that Asian beauty standards still exist and that some devs are standing strong on them. I don't have a PS5 and I am probably that close to my own end of life that there is no point in getting one but I will buy a copy of this game regardless, just to show my support. Great job devs... great job indeed. 😍
