Both accept or deny Adam are bad ending. Complete all side quest and and build a bond with Lily, then accept Adam is good ending. So I was told.

True. It also ends off in a pretty badass scene before the credits roll that doesn’t occur here. You need 100 percent affinity with Lily (this also nets you a whole other world to run through on Eidos 9 as well), and accept Adam for the best ending. And a totally different boss fight.

Naytibas are basically humans that tried to genetically “force” their evolution to defend Earth from Mother Sphere’s robots (Angels.) Mother Sphere thought she killed all of humanity, so just sent Angels down to get rid of the remaining Naytibas. She views both humans and Naytibas, and even the androids in Xion, as “racially inferior.”

However, in the ends, their contribution and action really paved the good path for the next generations.

This game is FULL of references to a bunch of other games and movies.

The music in this fight is amazing !

Fusing with him and Lily surviving by doing a lot of quests is actually the good ending I believe. Because in the ending where you kill Adam, you get transported back to Mother Sphere and are basically delivered on a silver platter. No matter what choice you make, Mother Sphere will always have something to cry about. Eve must get stronger to be able to defeat her.

@@Angel_Auraa I personally think he's gone. His actual real self was the Naytiba form he took during the Bossfight. He was trying his best to do good and to be fair I didn't really think he was trying to make Naytibas "being that hostile to literally anything" in the first place. His mistakes did almost doom all lifeforms on Earth but his intentions were "just" trying to wipe out Andro-Eidos from the Earth. At the end I think humanity was already doomed. The only human DNA left was in the Naytibas. The "perfection" of the Andro-Eidos or rather EVE combined with the DNA did make her insanely strong and I guess she will birth the new, more advanced humankind.

Eve fights the robot and in one ending Lily dies and she fights androids and credits cut. The other Lily lives, Eve still fights androids and we see Xion cheering and rebuilding the city.

Gotta agree that the “Bad Ending,” is better. Adam/Raphael getting his way again after everything he’s done. Just makes me sick in the stomach. It’s also rather sad that the good and true ending that favors Adam/Raphael; essentially means that Eve after everything, is just a buttered up fool no different than Raven. Only difference though between Eve and Raven; is that Raven was used and thrown aside by her creator (Mother Sphere) and savior (Adam/Raphael), where as Eve is intended to get everything. Really sad that this is what is supposed to be the better endings for the game. Feels like a let down after what looks like great combat, music, and graphics.

I really do not like how the game wants to force this angle of “you gotta trust him, even if you don’t like the truth”. I don’t have to trust him to accept the truth. In fact, I would see it more logical for Eve to destroy these two beings who think they can play god. He says he is a “mirror” of Eve, but honestly he is more of a mirror of Mother Sphere. The guy uses people as much he pleases, just like Mother Sphere. It really defeats the purpose of having agency when the game portrays it as “good” by being a pawn of someone else. Kill the Elder and then go after Mother Sphere to kill her. Boom, now everyone is truly free. Besides, the script did not make it easier to connect with Adam or at least make their “relationship” believable enough for me to care. His apology for Raven’s madness felt so shallow too, like “mm, well, ups, anyways, like I was saying”. Also, wtf was he doing all that time Raven was destroying Xion? Just hoping Eve would make it on time? It’s not like he needed Eve to stop Raven. He is practically a god. Talking about god, like how convenient was that he didn’t become an ugly ass mangled Naytiba while the other survivors did. Like are his genes like super marvelous or what?

This is the "bad" ending because Eve and Lily going back to the colony means they will either get their memories wiped (Tachy mentions this in the motion comic) or worse, terminated. They know too much now and there is no way Madre Sphere is leaving them as they are.

Mother Sphere is sort of obsessed with herself, so she probably didn’t realize one of her Angels was learning the truth about her crimes on Earth (killing all of humanity, dropping pieces of moon on them, etc) until the very last moment. 😂

My guess is that Adam tested Eve to see if she really was the chosen one for him. Or maybe it's because when they first met, Eve initially didn't know the truth and she was 100 percent anti-Naytibas, so I guess Adam had to gain her trust by helping her explore and slowly learn the truth About Mother Sphere, maybe she legit didn't know Eve found out the truth. Considering that Mother Sphere couldn't even communicate with people in Xion because of I guess distance between the colony and earth or maybe just Naytibas doing things, she probably couldn't monitor Eve that well.

Adam, EVE and Lilith(Lily). I'm honestly surprised I didn't put that reference together sooner.

The decision to kill Adam might aswell be the same decision Mother Sphere would have done. The decision to join Adam is what made her concsious enough to realize what's really going on in the World and what she must do to protect it. Eve and Mother Sphere are basically 2 mothers fighting for a child. Mother Sphere wants her perfect children who obey her every command it seems, while Eve accepts all children and actually protects them.

Same. Got 100 percent collectibles my first run and ran the ‘good’ ending. It actually lets you continue right before the final boss as well once you finish your first run, so I ran the deny Adam ending immediately following with Lily at 100 percent. Only 1 trophy left, but since Lily’s affinity resets in NG+ I’m doing a sprint through and will come back after for NG+ collectibles. The trophy system is soooo close to being possible in a single playthrough. You just always have to miss 1 of the endings and require a second playthrough. Edit. For anyone coming across this, I did just read that apparantly you can only continue from before the boss if you did not die during the boss fight. Otherwise you will not be able to run both endings at once.

Adam is Raphael Marks, the one who designed mother sphere and also the Naytibas. In the second "dungeon" where you fight only with the drone it's explained that humans resorted to experimenting in order to combat the Andro-Eidos and retake the surface. So, I'm guessing that most of the Alphas were amomg the first to become Naytibas, along with Orcal, all who were probably involved with the experiment, but that's just speculation.

Council aint even real its 2 AI's the Anime revealed the truth basically A2 is the real 2B we knew 2E was pretending to be 2B the legend (she was a legend cus the real one wich is A2 had many missions a skilled warrior and a cheerful gal in war time and her team was badass .... well one day Commander decided to kill the whole team off)

Worst ending to be exact. You doomed humanity in the end. Taking Adam's hand gives you an option. You can save everyone in the end.

Nah, this ending actually makes more sense, even though it’s the “bad” ending. I mean, Adam is pretty full of himself too, I mean the guy doomed humanity twice! And when he wants to redeem himself he even has the balls to call himself Adam as if he is the key to humanity’s salvation. Even more so, Eve is justified in not trusting to fuse with Adam, like wtf. She saw her best friend and almost all of humanity be turned into this twisted monsters and what is not to think that she might become one herself? Besides that I didn’t care about his bland dialogue and character all through the story.

@@lachancla3723 still depends on what you believe in. After all you need to stand for your decision in life. You are right about Adam but for me I will take the risk as long as everyone will benefit. In the end you have the right to refuse or accept. Besides that the ending shows that there are more questions and secrets that Mother Sphere never reveals. When you accept Adam there's still hope. It's an allegory to the real world especially if you are in a relationship. You will take the risk and accept all the past mistakes of your partner as long as you can see sincerity on his/her words. But again it's up to you.

@@KaiserWilhelm1939 so basically a long time ago, his original name was Raphael Marks and he was the engineer behind Mother Sphere and other cybernetic technological innovations. Mother Sphere became too sentient, brew a war between androids and humans, and the remaining humans hid in underground labs. So the guy had another genius idea of genetically modifying humans even more and slowly the experiments went wrong and basically the survivors that remained became Naytibas. So he was behind Mother Sphere and Naytibas at the same time.

Why. xD He’s humanity’s last hope. Besides, this ending isn’t canon. Xion gets destroyed and the last shred of human DNA gets destroyed, too.

Comparing adam to sephiroth is a stretch. Didnt DMC4 enemies have single white wings? He is more similar to those clad in white armour pretending to be an angel.

Adam's motive is pretty vague. I felt like there are more to tell behind the scene. Otherwise, the ending doesn't make sense.

That’s because you’re supposed to collect everything. 😂 I can explain it to you. Adam basically loves humanity, is the Father of all humanity (including the Androids on the Colony), and wants humanity to evolve and thrive. He’s the good guy. His “daughter”, Mother Sphere, wants to destroy and abandon humanity and replace them.

@@Angel_Auraa I also just realize that when Mother Sphere was talking about the bittersweet decision, it was not only about Eve having to kill her friend, but also Mother Sphere lamenting the death of her own father, teacher, and rival. The sad music really adds nicely to the emotion too.

All the endings are bad. Listen to what Adam says to Eve; "If we fuse together, we can truly become the seeds of a NEW human race". That is, he is NOT trying to create a new protector for Xion, but a new faction in this bloody war for survival. A war that can only end with one side obliterating all the others. The thing is, this has already been done, the fusion of Andro-Eidos and Naytiba that resulted in the first Alpha Naytiba! Did it lead to peace and harmony amongst the warring groups? Well, according to this new being, he went on to; "slaughter countless humans". So no. Adam is driven by hubris. He couches it in his concern and caring for humanity, but he refuses to learn from his mistakes. Always convinced that his solutions can fix the worst problems. To solve climate change, he created Mother Sphere, who in turn created the Andro-Eidos. Mother Sphere, thinking her creations being superior to old humans, and better for the Earth, begins a war of extermination. Billions are slaughtered, and the survivors retreat deep into the Earth. Does Adam consider the ramifications of his actions? No, instead, his hubris unchecked, he further compounds the situation by tinkering with human genetics to hasten human evolution. The result, well the "Evolved" humans do force the Andro-Eidos to flee back to the Colony, but, According to Adam, they find difficulty in being accepted by the surviving humans. In their distress they give up their humanity and become mindless beasts that attack anything that moves! Again, the humans, already decimated, are driven further towards the brink. At least some of the Andro-Eidos could be moved to sympathy towards the humans under the right circumstances. But, all but one of the Naytibas were utterly incapable of it. Once they shed their humanity, they no longer felt things like, pity, or remorse, or fear. They know only the hunt... and the kill. Adam plays at being contrite, but he refuses to see anyone else's point of view. If he was more empathetic, he might have guided Raven away from her insanity and help her cope with her revelations. But, no. He turned his back on her and let her madness take its toll. Leading to the death of Tachy and countless other innocents. Adam is not the hero of this story.

Why is this the bad ending? It felt more neutral to me.

Looks like i made the wrong choice. Fighting adam looks far easier than that stupid freaking mech. And i cant go back because i didnt back up my save so i might not play until they nerf it because it doesnt even make a difference on story or normal…

@@notoriousbig3k i ended up beating it. Was just user error cuz i started getting triggered by them bs mike tyson moves… once i calmed down i focused up and learned how it was moving and folded the mech unfortunately got the bad ending so now replaying for good ending

Bad Ending is the one were u kill Eldar man Good is when Lily dies True is when Lily lives and Xion fixed io think Eve is no longer cus how she said it was Godlike GodComplex Adam level i think she is Adam and Adam now is Lucifer now ... they all are evil as fuck
