As a retired classroom music teacher of 37 years, I cannot thank you enough for posting this video! These stories MUST be told, and you have done an OUTSTANDING job! THANK YOU for teaching the rest of US! 🥰🎶
Wow!
Thank you for this video, of the wonderful story, of the Steinway piano. I play the Saxophone, mainly the Tennor Saxophone. Would love to have and play, a Steinway Piano, but at my age, of 74, I don't know that I would put in the necessary time, to master it, as I have done, with the Saxophone. Though again, thank you for the wonderful video and narration.
I can't do much better than WOW! I guess there is something to be said for aging. I actually have had the opportunity to play a Steinway piano. It was most likely 70 years old and in great shape. (BTW that piano now is most likely 120 years old as I was 20 then and 70 plus now) I served in the military and over the course of time and assignments I have played at some church wherever I was stationed. One church had a Steinway and it was a divine internement. Though generally I played the organ I would get the occasion to play the piano. I am really loving your channel.

Thank you for your service and for your support!
Did the piano offer a discharge from the military? If not, I wouldn’t have wanted it.
