This is one of the best albums in recorded music ever. For every musician or producer, it should be mandatory study.

I don’t know how many hours I sat on a lifeguard stand listening to this song and the rest of this album. How nobody ever drowned is a miracle. Can you imagine any of the current “stars” trying to arrange and play this music?

Love the wisdom in these video's. I just wish the youth today would realise you have to rise above it with Love in your heart and a vision for the future. Nothing will be handed to you!

I love your stories and your appreciation of one of my favorite bands. I love how you have such reverence for your Uncle and it is clear you have a loving relationship. Keep listening to Steely Dan. They have such a rich catalog of music. You are in for a treat!

I enjoy your conversation and so true.My Grandmother was an immigrant sent over to New York from Poland by herself at 16 to live with her Uncle and aunt . Same idea back in 1906. Her family grew and thrived and took care of her as she grew older!

Mojo, I am assuming this is your Dad. I love your Dad. I could talk to him for hours over a glass or two of Bourbon. Anyway, Steely Dan is in another stratosphere of music, as you have found out on your own. I bet he appreciates the Jazz structure within many of their songs. Monk, Coltrane, Miles etc. Peace!

Listen to "Its What I Do" by Donald Fagen. He was close to Ray Charles. Written after his death. I am probably the same age as your uncle. I grew up litening to RC, starting in the early '60's as a kid. Your uncle will really appreciate the lyrics. The line about The Raelettes especially.😄

The story is about immigrants from Puerto Rico.
