To get rid of the gap you need to get at least 10x19 rims for the rear and run 285/40r19 tires. I have this setup with my 2020 gt and it works great.

Yeah I have gone with 285/35/19 since this video. Not a tall tire setup but since it’s wider it looks much better than stock 255s

What size of wheel and tire are you thinking about switching to?

I’m thinking to go with 19s. 20s look great but I think with lowered car it will be too harsh

I want to do these as well but don’t know if I need camber plates or camber bolts. Because some people say you need them to get back into spec.

I actually just got it aligned and was within factory spec after adjustment. I was in the same position and did tons of research. Both caster plates and camber bolts will help bring camber down more to an optimum position but you’ll be fine and be within factory spec without them

I got it few months after when I got new tires and wheels. It’s not required to get it after lowering as mine didn’t change much after lowering the car but good peace of mind to have

they also drop a little more after a few days

Have the springs fully settled in. You have to go back and put caster plates to get your alignment. Are you using your factory shocks and struts. How does it drive on bad roads.

Looks good and should handle better too.

These are stock wheels. They come with black accent package. You can find them on fb marketplace. Matter of fact I’ll be selling mine too

My question is a big one - will these springs give you scoliosis and loosen your teeth? My kidneys are already suffering with my stock springs so I'm wondering how bad it's going to get. Can't have my wife getting two black eyes just because I want to improve the look of my ride.

Honestly I was in the same boat. Stock suspension was fine for me but it’s my daily and I frequently take road trips so I didn’t want to get a very stiff ride. If I’m being honest it maybe made the ride 5-10% harsher. Something a passenger won’t notice at all. I barely felt it

@@johnalcala yes 20 definitely have a more harsh ride quality than 19s. If you like some aftermarket wheels you can maybe swap to 19s then lower it
