    I think it all is on the economy. The economy drove the prices up on the cars and the interest rates were driven up. It is not just Mustangs. It's food, houses, etc... The dealerships putting ADM on cars is the icing on the cake. I'd love to have a S650 based car, but now isn't the time to buy much of anything, let alone a Mustang.

    I think ford sees a gap in the market due to the Charger turning to shit. I think they realize that a lot of police departments are going to be weary of the high maintenance costs that the new Charger will have and the new Charger is expensive AF. Also on the consumer side there are not any American v8 sedans on the market. It is a niche market but paired with Law Enforcement sales I think it will do fine sales wise.

    A four door version would make sense and grow the brand couple this with an electric motor up front then you have the AWD variant. This offering would be unique in the marketplace and bring I new customers to the brand. It’s authentic and credible at the end of the day.

    No!, it's not the cost why it was not selling,. Their interior designer was in payroll of rival coompany. S650 dash sucks!, " tablets" was placed in dash like bill boards.😂. Place the s550 dash inside the s650 and it' s over. Can place a tablet with those graphics and tech in the middle and it' ll look fine. Cockpit is the problem of s650.

    Ford in Australia had the Falcon, GT,GTHO, XR6, XR6 turbo, XR8, and the FPV range performance sedans and utes. Look them up.

    Why not call it the Mustang Ghia? That was the 71-73 version that was built for comfort and style, not performance. Honestly, Ford should build a 4-door similar to the Maserati. This is a possible sell for the man who wants a performance V-6/V-8, but wants seats for the kids (or larger adults). Chrysler did it successfully with the Charger and 300.

    How bout this idea ford - Chevy had a good idea with the Corvette - I’d like to buy an American sports car - roomy/comfortable - fast say a rear engine - metal not glass - AWD and roughly 100 to 150k

    It’s my first V8. I don’t care if you can’t tune it and void the warranty. I don’t care about the price I’m rich. 450 horsepower is plenty for me I never go over 85 mph. I know what you’re trying to say but not everyone is trying to modify it.

    I’m hanging on to my 2022 mustang GT. I put a new strip down the middle. A glow around and I just don’t like all the screen in the 2024. Why are the rear lights bent in the 2024? Eventually I’ll trade it in for a new one but not now

    What size are you running? 285/35/19 tire with +35 offset on 19x10” wheel? I’m looking to run this on my pp1 with mag ride. I love the staggered look but it pushes way too much in the front. Figured I’d square it up as it’ll handle better. I need rear tires anyways. The Pirellis have 7k on them and the rears probs have another 1k before they’re toast

    Awd is irrelevant for performance and an excuse of putting power down with a mustang. People have been adapting to putting power down for decades without the need or desire of awd. Its an extra unnecessary expense to drive the cost of a mustang up while still only having only 500+hp, which isn't traction limited horsepower territory with the tires that are currently on the market to assist traction issues. You have guys making 1200hp modified of course without awd on a multitude of a cars and manage on the street. Maybe not from a dig necessarily and consistently but on the dragstrip, traction issues are well covered. Out the box i see a 4 for door mustang awd pushing $80k overweight and running 12.4 1/4 stock that wouldn't sell well at all

  • @MrDerekRobinson
    @MrDerekRobinsonКүн бұрын

    P.S. There's already cars in the market that fill the benefits of 4 doors and awd and of the ones that run 11s and 10s aren't cheap and already boosted from the factory. A mustang without boost and sold NA is a terrible option. 4 doors is alright but doing both 4 doors and awd. Too many ideas for a remodel where the demand really isn't really there

    It was the same thing when they went from 2017's to 18's too, the power went up slightly and so did the weight and the only real gain was they started putting the 10 speeds in them.. And people who know, Know the Gen 2's were better than the Gen 3's as far as looks and less headaches.. This is what the 2018 and up guy's do they minimize the 24's and the 17's to make themselves feel better about having a 20, 22, or 23..

    I got the s650 GT January 4th, paid under MSRP for it, have about 15,000 miles on it now. Initially just didn’t like the headlights, but they’ve grown on me. To me it’s the subtle touches that add up to the difference from the last gen. It feels like the right balance between modernization and that classic American v8. I really enjoy the screens but still got the warranty in case something happened to them so I definitely agree there should be some more actual buttons. 😂

    They get ready to fuck up that’s what they get ready to do. Please hire some people with style get some drag queen to design the car. They got style in class. They keep using the same old designers straight. Well I’m not gonna say straight, but you know what I meanthey keep picking the same designers

    the Mach E already took the shock outta anything other than a coupe and a v8. Mustang is a brand that must diversify in order to survive. Red5oh you have many valid points to embrace the expansion of the Pony Platform.

    I’m keeping my PP1 GT to be sure, but I’d consider a Mustang sedan as a daily family mover. AWD you say? Yep. But what about this…instead of just a sedan how about a wagon? Think Audi A6 Avante. Maybe it’s my weird kink for station wagons, but I’d be all over an AWD v8 wagon variant of the Mustang. More appealing than any SUV in my opinion.
