In this video you're going to learn how to create and publish blog posts that crush it on Google so you can get more impressions, more clicks, and more traffic to your website, helping you grow your business case.
Specifically, I'm going to be talking about this through the lens of being an affiliate marketer, but even if you're not doing affiliate marketing and you're just using content marketing and SEO, you're going to get a ton of value. And I've got a 9-step process that my team and I have pretty much perfected at this point. And that's what I'm handing you here.
But really I want to give you this process because up until now our biggest challenge has been how do we really create and publish enough content in the right way, so I've had to really get super specific with my process that my wife and I have used to drive tens of millions of visits. Her site gets something like 8 million visits a year. It's had like 35 million plus people on her website. So it all comes out of this. And then how do we apply it? And that's what you're gonna get is the whole process. So without further ado, the nine step process to creating and publishing blog posts that rank get clicks and crush it. Number one, keyword research. Now if you know who I am, you've seen any of my videos, you've absolutely heard me talk about keyword research before.

That's the process that we're using. So we're looking for long tail phrases and it's all about identifying the right keyword phrase and then it's about understanding the intent behind the keyword phrase.
And this is where a lot of people missed the boat. They'll go find a keyword phrase in the tool and they're like, perfect. That's the phrase. It's got low difficulty, it's got high search volume, I'm just going to write, and they go straight into writing and that as a huge risk.
You need to take time to analyze what is that search intent from two filters.
Number one is the human being who goes to Google and what are they thinking? Where are they? Get into their mindset. Think of who is actually searching that. So there's the human search intent.
Part two of the keyword research search intent is the algorithms search intent. What does Google think that this phrase is all about? How do you learn what that is? You go Google the keyword phrase and it's a simple step and this actually leads us into step number two.
Step two is to write out your title and description first. Now, a lot of people save this until the very end.
So you need to spend time writing this first. When you're full of energy and where do you get the ideas of what's working? This is where you really start to frame what's working. It's from that Google search, so step one you find your keyword and then you search it to know the intent. When you're on that Google search page, this is where you need to be looking at what titles are working, what descriptions are working, are all of the posts a top 10 list will great if so, make a top 21 list, right?
Make it bigger and better. Lists are look at what is already working on Google and realize that Google is showing you clearly by the first page results what Google thinks is the absolute best topic angle hook for this post

Hey Miles, thanks for all you do bro. I made it all the way through the video, and I am going to watch it several more times just to pound it all into my head. I have taken over a business from a man who had no SEO insight at all, links were just wonky, named all weird and headlines were were generic. I have a secondary site but it is new, I feel like revamping this site as it is 11 years old will yield the best results. The site is Wordpress bloated with plugins, I think I will strip it down to basics and just plug in what is needed. I am one year in, so far it's just been getting a feel for the market and deciding on which way to go with it. Bringing in 18,000 products soon and hoping that by the end of year two we at least hit the 50k a year mark. Go 1%ers!
Hey Miles great vid! I'm going to add my 2 cents on something that is often overlooked: Back in the days of Kindle, a lot of new entreprenuers were getting into the game trying to write Kindle Books. There was one glaring and obvious problem. Many of the people who were writing the books or hiring other people to write the books, *Didn't Read books Themselves!* Here is my 2 cents: If a person isn't an active reader. i.e. If they do not read books, blogs, or journals, they should be very careful about getting into the blog game. I guarantee there are people watching your videos, thinking about starting a blog, who haven't read a book or article in 10+ years... Those people should put the blog on hold, and read at least 10 books before they start.

We always went with FB & IG Ads... But for some reason... #BADASS!!!! As always Miles you have hit the nail on its head and drove it deep down into the plank! Love your process of goal setting and system creation. (I don't think most people see that you are giving away systems that make money by the way!!) I am learning WordPress and Thrive Themes for my bolg and then ActiveCampaign email and Facebook for my choice of social. I'm working my way into my niche as well but not as much as I am when it comes to these tools. I understand my niche enough to be able to focus on learning how to use these online tools that will in effect help my do WAY MORE heavy lifting than I can do on my own. write out the content and longform. Create a podcast feed with the audio and add that to a WordPress site as well. the process to get a blog started is covered here www.milesbeckler.com/how-to-start-a-blog/ The only real difference in your space is monetization and you don't need to know how that works before you start. Patreon, selling merch, advertising, there's always options

When the time comes to commence my website and blog online, do I just copy and paste into the blog or should I being pre writing onto a different form first. Thanks for your honest help Miles. oh yeah… You can run ads on your posts. I have friends who make tens of thousands of dollars per month displaying ads to their traffic instead of doing affiliate stuff. It's a wonderful business model and some say it has less competition since there aren't a bunch of affiliates clogging up those niches

Right on man… This is the same process I use on my content site that doesn't do affiliate and my traffic is up over 150% year over year :D it truly is a full content marketing strategy I just needed to tie it into my month five affiliate site update, LOL… So I made it relevant

Do you still use MozDOTcom for domain analysis, @@MilesB ? If not, what do you use currently? I just put the URL of the home page of a website on MozDOTcom and the interface of the results are showing up differently than on your Keyword Research video. For example, I see the Domain Authority, but there isn't a ranking of Page Authority.

@@DaringChinchilla it is a fad I'm choosing to ignore for many reasons. First off, it would distract me from my core business model. Second I don't like that Facebook and are able to control my access to them. That said I have friends crushing it with those types of ads
