Oh my gosh, Shawna. I'm no longer a beginner but I still like to watch your videos because you are so encouraging - and sometimes I need that. I was laughing at the "dumb designs" riff. I let doubt hold me back far too often. So you've inspired me. I'm adding to my to-do list to "create 3 dumb designs". Hear me out. I recently heard one of my favorite authors say that part of his process to make sure he writes every single day, is to "write 2 crappy pages". This is me! I've been an artist most of my life. I love to be organized in my studio to save time in finding the supplies I need to do projects, but because the ideas are always flowing and I feel the need to start the idea while it's fresh in my mind the ADD circle begins and I tend to loose focus on the bigger side of picture of success. Daily tasks written down the night before sets me up for success the next day.

Interesting... Where I work part-time to help finance my Print on Demand activities. I noticed a customer who wears a Teeshirt with the words:- "Wierd Parents Build Character". I wonder how many permutations of this Wierd theme there actually are? This is the first time I have seen a variant of that anywhere.😊 By the way I live in England, so perhaps not really in the mainstream Teeshirt wearing environment. 😊

I do not agree with any excuse to get someone’s idea because that is theirs originally and deserves respect. I am more on the side of creating something new. Anyway, I see your channel for other great tips. Thanks.
Shawna, I so wish you would talk about companies like Shein and Temu stealing every best-selling design on etsy. They're also no longer just taking the design--they just copy the entire mockup along with it. How can we prevent this? What can we do about it?
