you could still get a uti in the circumstance that a foreign particle or pathogen enters your urinary tract, so even if you will remain single, you may be at risk.

Hey, suger_suger, if you don’t engage in sexual behaviors, you don’t have to worry about STDs. Mosquitos can carry diseases, but not sexually transmitted diseases. HIV is spread through exposure to an infected person’s blood, semen, vaginal fluids or breast milk. It is most commonly transmitted through sexual contact or sharing needles with someone who is infected.

Great question! Herpes is the only STD that can be passed through kissing. This usually happens when one person has a sore on or around the mouth and then kisses another person. It can also happen during a select number of days throughout the year when the virus is more active in a person’s body and when they may have no symptoms at all.

If neither have an STI and you have unprotected sex, the only thing you are at risk of is pregnancy (if it is female-male sex).
