In a private small group setting I have watched Kevin perform many things, playing a glass electric cello with his sister on Violin. Who is very intelligent.. masters in medical too. The whole family is very unique not falling far from.the 2 trees of Mom & dad. Hugs OLUSOLA family!!!!!

I'm obsessed with this. Been showing my students at school all day since we are studying the string family. This guy was always one of my favorites in pentatonix but I had no idea he could make that cello sing like that! Holy smokes! Unbelievable talent.

LBEfication also he would just play to piano with his feet, he doesn't need 4 hands. Since he is better at the cello, he can use his hands for that.

I love his passion for music and How humble he is. He is honestly one of my favourite person to look up to. I mean I'm happy that he is happy with his choice but we can always use more black doctors that's for sure. Especially if he specializes in an area of medicine that troubles black people more dude to the lack of study. For example sickle cell or skin related diseases seeing as we have very few black dermatologist. The arts are extremely important no question but if i have to choose i'm putting more black people in medicine.

I don't believe that the other members of PTX knew what they were doing when they just used him for beat boxing. Kevin, you are living proof that people can do anything that they put their mind to. I'm sure that in the beginning, it wasn't easy. I'm sure that there were a lot of sleepless nights, but you've made it. Your doing what you want to do. Keep it up. With love, Eclipse

They have featured his cello playing in some videos and have promoted his ventures with the cello. It's how they learned of him in the first place. They are an aceppla group which means that they dont use his cello playing much because its not a part of the genre.

Kevin can sing. He has a video he covers the song “True Color.” He has had some singing parts in some of the videos.

Pentatonix definitely deserved Grammy! No award can justify this guys talent. And he inspires so many young hearts! Beat boxing cello is something so extra ordinary that no artist famous today can even imagine in their wildest dreams that it could be possible. This is real music. 😊

Those saying PTX doesn't utilize him enough, watching these videos, you can tell that they use him A LOT to arrange their music and beats. PTX is great because ALL of their talents are utilized.

Very rarely do I listen to something so beautiful that it gives me chills but here I am. I love this 💕

And that, ladies and gentleman, is why this guy is part of one of the best acapella bands in the world!

I genuinely cannot find words to describe how talented you are K.O!! It is not very often you see someone with such a talent for the Cello and for you to be able to box at the same time, truly incredible. Not only are you a musical genius, you're such a down to earth, lovely guy! The world is a better place with you in it!

He was made for music. It's like oxygen to him. So beautiful to pull us into that depth of love for pure music.

Saw this back in 4th grade in my music class now I'm in 10th still listening to this amazing thing!

So, I have known about PTX for over a year now. I love a lot of their covers but there is a hidden talent behind it all that is the root and foundation. It's this guy. His vocal and musical capabilities is purely amazing. Heavenly if you wish. Great job and I'm glad I discovered your channel here. Keep on doing your thing man. Your creativity is astonishing.

His name was Gavi. He passed away of cancer a couple years after this recording. He was such an incredible soul and a talent to behold.
