Hi there, South African here! Our country gets a bad rep when it comes to safety but it’s like any country where there are safe areas and then areas where it’s not so safe, definitely consult a local if you can when visiting but mostly our country is beautiful and our people are some of the friendliest you’ll find, hope that helps🥹🇿🇦🫶🏽
