About OFF GRID with DOUG and STACY:
We moved to our 11 acres in 2011 from a large city in the Midwest with zero carpentry and farming skills. We live with no solar / wind power / public water or well. We share our adventure to a sustainable life, growing our own food from vegetables to meat. We post videos DAILY and they range from HOW TO to EVERYDAY LIFE and NUTRITION on the off grid homestead. We were city folks just like you probably and wanted to enjoy life and have more control over our food. We share food recipes as well as natural remedies.

After watching, I went out and bought (rescued) a Lavender Plant on clearance!
I love, love, love, love, love this channel! I am 66 years old and Stacy and Doug take me back to the late 60's ad early 70's when so many of my generation were trying to live this lifestyle. Now that I have retired I have taken up gardening and cooking and this channel is an inspiration for me. Thank you!

THIS LADY IS LIVING MY DREAM....TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY....THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS AMAZING VIDEO.
Good job letting others know about a small business you can stand behind. The knowledge Tracy and Stacy had is amazing to me. I do grow it to keep fleas, ticks to a minimum, and it does a great job.
The dry lavender sticks can be used to calm your hens in the hen house as long as each hen gets some otherwise they fight over the nest.
This is so nice, we need smell a vision! Congrat's to Tracy for finding such a passion and building with it.
Great place
Lavendar is my favorite herb, would love to visit this beautiful place, thank you Doug and Stacy for a awesome field trip, blessings

Stacey, I am so thankful I came across your video, I am starting out planting in my backyard .
You guys are so fortunate to be able to meet the people and tour the places you do. Especially lavender, it's both beautiful and versatile.
Herbs de Provence is one of my favorite seasonings!!
Gorgeous barn! We have a few lavender farms nearby in my area of MI. The plants always look so beautiful out in the fields. 💜
This makes me even more excited for our lavender plants to keep growing!!!!
Fun and I loved it! I suggest the Lavender lady to make her own UTube video's. I bet it would do well. Thank you very much much Dough and Stacy for the Friday share. This was very interesting.
A lovely video. What an inspiration! Thank you for sharing!
This is amazing! I am wanting to start a lavender farm! The amount of products she is able to make with lavender is amazing! I didn't think about a cafe aspect, it's genius!

Thank you! I love visiting lavender farms. Lavender is one of my favs. Today a friend invited me over to harvest her lavender. The harvest was three large baskets, enough to make some wreaths, bunches, and more. Lavender season is just starting here in Oregon. I enjoy watching your channel! So much great info each time! Thanks for inspiring content!
Wow I love love love this so awesome!!!! Thank you so much for sharing 😁🙏🏻❤️👍
Yes, I enjoyed it! Even without smellevision, the photography and music put me in the zone.
I visited a tea house a few years ago , We were served a lavender lemonade, lavender ice cream, lavender sugar cookie all so fragrant and delicious. Thanks for the video, I loved it!
It's so beautiful! Something like 400 types of lavender! Wow Thanks Doug & Stacy God bless xx
Another great fragrance is the Linden tree, which grows well in Missouri.
I just used some of my home made beef rub with lavender in it along with other spices , on our steaks tonight . It is so very good this way . I love lavender for many things .
What a beautiful barn/ shop and property
Hope you really enjoyed the lavender farm, a week ago we visited Hope Hill Lavender Farm in Pottsville, Pa, lavender a little late, but plenty of sunflowers, and lots of things made out of lavender, wonderful trip and great time.
What a fabulous place to visit. Love that they've added a café and a space for learning
The best Friday yet!!!!!
I get smarter every time I watch your channel! We bought 73 acres and plan to do many of the things you guys have made look easy and possible. You guys are such a blessing! Keep the videos coming!
I recently had lavender lemonade for the first time and I'm addicted.... if they don't sell that I recommend making that... it actually makes my migraines less sharp. It's amazing
I’ve visited two lavender farms this month here in Texas, this would be my absolute dream to have this beautiful business and farm! Amazing. 🤍🤍🤍
The place where you live is so beautiful God bless ❣️❣️❣️❣️😍
Howdy! Loved the lavender farm tour! Wish there was smell-o-vision! Thanks for taking us along! Really enjoy the field trips..... Many years ago my step sister in Northern Calif. planted 25 acres of lavender on her vinyard/winery, and made a lot of $$ selling the fresh flowers to perfume company that would then make products. She's also an artist, and so she could paint all the beauty of the lavender fields and in every way enjoy them.
My gf and I was just there over the weekend. Very nice place. Doug & Stacy where is your homestead? Love to see how you two live and love to do it myself
💜💜I can almost smell the beautiful fragrance!
WE LOVED THIS FIELD TRIP VIDEO ❣❣❣❣ Thanks for sharing!!!
3 weeks! So different. Our lavender dries in 3-4 days in western Colorado.
What an amazing place!

Can't wait to try to grow some of these plants, especially the Mexican sage! Thank you so much! Wonderful field trip friday!
That's so awesome, I just started lavender this year. I hope mine turns out that beautiful 😍.
Love this trip. wish she would have talked a little about how to plant as far as what type of soil etc. I didn't see a link to go to to shop

glenda brekke - she did mention that they do well in clay soil. The slope and terraces are because mature lavender doesn’t like their “toes” wet, and a lavender plant is considered mature at three years. They love hot & dry, but the five varieties that they grow will do fine in a hot & humid environment. One of her varieties does not dry well, so she won’t sell that type in bundles but rather it’s used in pot pourri. Yet another variety is very fragrant so it’s great for sachets. There are over 400 lavender varieties and she grows five. Hope this is helpful. :)
