@@Selena3williams Artistically, I like the solitary image of the lone Adirondack chair among the lavender but I definitely would not enjoy sitting among that many bees. Maybe in the evening after they've retired for the night would be better.

Beautiful video Laura. I was so moved by the footage of you and your mom in the lavender field. I lost my mom to ovarian cancer (age 59) 10 years ago. She owned her own business in Maine for 29 years and grew annuals / perennials from seed and used them in dried flower arrangements, which she then sold in her shop and at craft fairs. We (Mom, Dad, my brother, and I) would all be out in the field harvesting mid to late summer blooms. This video reminded me of that - family together

Spent the afternoon in the garden, gather with friends and family with we can to enjoy a beach fire or a fun trip to get crafting supplies and end a day in laughter, coffee/tea and 'some' finished crafts. Such a beautiful & charming film of a special day together. I live in a small English village with a lavender farm closeby and it's so emotional to walk through the lines. I love all your beautiful films. I'm a nurse but took a year out of my career in 1995 to study horticulture and have always had cottage gardens and vegetable plots (very Beatrix Potter). I love your planning and structure. Thank you for all the beautiful films which helped me through some difficult days as an Intensive Care Nurse caring for the sickest of the Covid patient's, your films helped me escape after a tough 13 hr shift in PPE. Keep smiling your beautiful smile Laura and making such wonderful and informative films, very inspirational.

But more than than, I loved the peaceful interaction you have with your mom and your family. While you are driven and strive for as much perfection as you can, you also are able to slow down and appreciate precious moments in time, like watching Benjamin and Russell from the view through the wreath or stopping to zoom in on the intricate part of a flower. Your mother is wonderful and her laugh is medicine for the soul. Enjoy your many blessings!

One of your all-time best videos!! With you, your mom, Benjamin, a little bit of Aaron--how can you miss? The interaction of you and your mom, Benjamin and the cat, and your mom and Benjamin was so relaxed and natural. It is like you are finally your natural self and not so camera conscious and being video perfect every second. I have especially enjoyed watching you and Aaron working the new property and exchanging ideas about what is possible. Even had to grudge-ingly agree after Aaron pulled out the volunteer sunflowers. I do love how flowers reseed in places that break the rules. Keep going the way you are. We don't need a new video everyday--you are not machines! You are a family that we love. Pixie

This brought back such wonderful memories for me of doing fun projects with my mom! I have to admit I cried some missing her for 10 years now but such is the cycle of life. What beautiful moments you are capturing on video for yourself and family as well as teaching and sharing with us. Thank you for more then the obvious beautiful lavender wreaths. 💖

I'm a bit late to getting to watch this, as it's been a busy holiday weekend, but sitting with my coffee on a misty Sunday morning enjoying this. Ah how lovely to spend the afternoon with you and your mother. You know, it's so lovely now to enjoy KZread for the positive REAL people that exist out there. I don't think I've watched 'real' tv in years and can't imagine going back to 'dark scripted stories' when reality and joy and happiness are SO much the better. I'm always buying pots of lavender when I can as my very sunny salt air wind swept front of my house (Facing the sea) LOVES lavender. It puts up with things not many other plants will! I've been tempted to plant a couple pots down ON Our beach just to see how far it CAN take the dry, sun, wind? Maybe I'll make that a project, now that I think of it. Sorry for the tangent... However, thank you again for letting us spend the day with you, the laughter and joy is really a balm, much like the lavender surely is, to our spirit. It makes me miss my own mother yet I recall the fun and HAPPY things like this we so often did, always SO mixed in with laughing fits.

I love the videos with you and your mom. I’ve commented before, but I’ll say it again - my mom and I are very close and since her dementia diagnosis and two strokes 4 years ago we have not been able to do things like making wreaths. We used to go out and gather bittersweet and other materials each autumn. These videos remind me of me and my mom. Thank you for sharing.

Love this!! My Mom and I went to the lavender farm together years ago and made lavender wands. I miss those times so much. She's older and not wanting to go any longer. Cherish these memories. This brings back awesome memories. The one we went to had a place to sit and have lavender tea and biscuits. Was a lavender fair. Love you and your Mom together. She's so cute.
