Status Quo the best band ever!!! This concert was great!! I admire them so much. I try to play their songs, but it's harder than they make it look. Such talent !!!

Woke up at 4, couldn't sleep anymore and watched the Quo! Super band! I am 55 years now and I watched the Quo since I was 12!! Great part of my life! R.i.p. Rick.

Have had the honour of seeing The Mighty Quo live and when the drone starts and the way the Rickmeister belted out the opening for Caroline, you knew that you were in for a fantastic night. These guy are the dogs dangles. Rest in peace Rickmeister

Yes, the best band of the world, though not the biggest. But for so many the biggest and best! Love Status Quo with all my heart! After 50 years it's as good of all over. There is no shame in it, it lasted as long as it could and with a lot of pride! Thanks for so much fun and a good way to go through life 🙌.

Love trying to play Quo songs. Just great watching them and seeing how relaxed they are on stage...just walking round so casually yet playing so perfect. They make it look so easy yet I know from trying to play these songs how talented they are...real inspiration.

Next time someone says they just play 3 chords (which of course they do often as many other artists do)...just hand them a guitar and get them to play Hold Ya Back...just the intro alone requires so much skill, timing and accuracy. Then if/when mastered...jump up and down with the guitar and sing...whilst playing to crowds of thousands haha

Whenever the drone starts...and turns into the starting riff by rick....i still get goosebumps. After all these years. There's no life (and "live") without Quo! Best Band ever! Been with my from my childhood days up to now. Keep on Rockin'! R.i.P. Rick!

Just prooves the feedback at the start was always put in to the drone.

At this time BT was managed by a truly decent man ( Ben Verwain). He was shocked to find the company did not honour long serving staff so arranged this as a family day for all those with 30 years service to say thank you. My wife told me the son of one of her colleagues met Rick and he took the time to chat and play guitar with him. She said the young chap was grinning and floating on air for the rest of the day. Later managements did not live up to the high standard, but briefly the company was governed by a great leader.

Raymond, I left BT in April 2004 after 29 years service and missed this event. None of my colleagues told me the Quo played at Alton Towers - it happened just after I left. This might have made me stay. I loved the Quo from my early teens e even earning the nickname Status from my mates. I went to see them live several times and was never disappointed.

I am an old man like this guy from Neil Young's song. In the seventies last century, (how terrible it sounds) I was blinded by Prog Rock and all these bombastic music. 35 years later these guys having fun on the stage and giving the same to us prove again how wrong I was. Rick and Malcolm Young, no matter who was better, both are the Kings of the Rhythm and Puls. Hope the play together, somewhere. RIP
