Hi Emily I hope you are well. Is there a top up degree system in SA similar to that in the UK whereby I could use credit from previous qualifications to get a direct third year entry into a bachelor's degree course. If so could you please point me to universities that deliver such programmes.

TAs are normally the Chinese teachers. Foreign teachers are either ESL, Homeroom or subject teachers.

Hi Emily, do you get to choose which age group you want to teach at a kindergarten? I’m at a training centre and I would like to teach at a kindergarten in future but I don’t want to teach 3-4 year olds 😭

Hey. Yes during the interview process you tell the school your preferred age group. The school will also normally tells you which age group they’re recruiting for. I’ve been lucky that all the kindergartens I’ve worked at were recruiting for my preferred age group (5-6year olds)
