The Chinese love fads as there is no crime or hyper-politics to distract you. Instead, it's all about fun stuff of the week and everyone wants to see what it's about. That you can get there using highspeed train also helps.

Also explain for USA the need to get Visa to visit China. Thats 780.1 million euros in 3 days thats alot of money haha. anyway this city looks gorgeous in the winter. love the ice sculpture and festival. looks so peaceful. China really is a magical place to live in i feel. would love to be there for a couple of years to see everything. You are lucky to be born there^^. my country is pretty boring in general. o i just looked up the temperature in Harbin its -30 right now i love cold weather and we had no snow this year. well a little for a week. but thats about it. but yeah its a cold place so beautiful

So save up and maybe you can go to Harbin next year if you are not busy with work sounds like a lot of fun. At least you still live in a country that got snow every year. i do miss those days. o well we cant choose where we are born haha

Not sure what the problem is ?! So during the ice festival the city of Harbin try to put in place many things to make the experience of the tourist better... is that a problem ? I thought that people would complain if the city did absolutely nothing ! Why is trying to improve suddenly regarded as a bad thing ? Those morons who are complaining about everything and nothing should instead give suggestions as how to improve the ice festival next year... otherwise if you cannot do something useful, just sh*t up !

When a fad takes off on social media in China, it can get a little overwhelming, All "uber" drivers the city got booked that a radio station got volunteers to drive tourists for free. And it's hard to predict if the demand is the same next year as China is now a country of hip fun fads of the week. I like their enthusiasm, like we are all in this together, let's pack the streets.
