I did same. Just wanted refresh and get items that do get at least £15. Used to sell stuff every day but very cheap so now it’s been very slow but when i hear that caching it’s worth my time. I really enjoy your videos 🤩

Really enjoy watching your videos 😀 I’ve recently become self employed so I opened an eBay business acc and shop, listed 29 products then 7 days later I was suspended..! Not even sold anything at that point. They won’t say why as it’s their policy. Can’t appeal or contact eBay now, gutted 😢 Started at zero as I wanted to keep my individual account separate for personal things. All my items were brand new soft furnishings such as bedding sets, cushion covers etc so nothing dodge.

Hiya, sounds like a great idea, got to aim for 300 items, wow! My sales are zero for 27 days, then 6 at a time for when I have to present my figure, 5 or 6 day after, then 27 days of nothing! Oh well, will watch your next video with interest! Good luck,

Hello. I love your content. I always feel I learn something when I watch your videos. Please can I ask a question. What is your reason for going through the expense of setting up an eBay shop instead of listing items as an individual which is free? I have seen a few resellers on KZread that don’t go down the shop route to save the monthly fee. Have you found that your sales better by having a shop? Thank you, jason.

Hi thanks so much! I'm a business seller so can't sell my items on an individual account - I know some peope do that to save on the fees and get the free listings but I'd just rather everything was done above board. As a business there's certain trading standard things you have to have that individual accounts don't, like your business info on listings etc. You can still have a business account and not have a shop subscription but it becomes worth it to get the benefits that come with it, depending on how many listings you have and I aim to grow this one to around 500 asap. But no I don't think it increases sales at all but you get the ability to run promotions and sales plus people can follow your shop and get notified when you list new items so that probbably helps.

Wow 51 listings in one day! Amazing work! Are you able to do a video on your process from item in, prepped, listed etc? Or your listing process? I struggle to list 5 a day, so some tips would be awesome! Hoping this challenge goes well for you! Sometimes everyone needs to just press reset!

I only managed that many as about 40 of the listings were already done and I just redid some photos and changed prices etc. Only about 8 were completely brand new

I didn't list anything in the whole of December last year, and started fresh this January. It roughly took about 20 days to get my first sale. Vinted is a good idea, just beware of listing to many items in one hit, as I listed 70 items in the space of 15 days and they took down all of my listing.

20 days wow yeah I'm expecting a slow start after such a big break. Its so weird that vinted does that especially as they are rolling out the vinted pro for resellers to be able to list higher volume, so taking listings down just seems daft

Great video as always 👍 I have 66 listings all on GTC with best offer and all price between 10 and 25 pounds. No sales as of yet 10 days in, CRAZY. do you do GSP and do you print your shipping labels. Happy sales for the future

Hi yeah so many people talking about how slow things are recently... slightly worrying! and yeah I use gsp and print my own labels. I've had 2 sales on vinted yesterday but still none in ebay and I'm nearly up to 100 listings, maybe try crosslisting to another platform?

Thanks, yeah was looking at zipsale amd maybe starting a depop shop to crosslist too. It's just postage between all the different sites holds me back from taking the plunge. Need to get my head round it all and the differences between.

How long did it take to list 51 items on day 1? Or were they all sell similar from your cancelled listings

Hi about 30 were sell similar and I just took some new photos and wrote new titles, but the measurements and descriptions were all done so that definitely helped!

I'm interested because I really want another side hustle. I work part time in my job in retail and I did get involved with matched betting, and it was great for a while because it supplemented my wages and was a great help whilst being furloughed. But obviously getting account restricted is making it harder to make profit. Plus I think its a good idea not to put all your eggs in one basket and to have other options so I'm interested in your ebay venture and am following along 😀

Yeah I definitely agree with not having all your eggs in one basket, even though I sometimes feel like a bit of a jack of all trades master of none!

@@SelfEmployedStudentMum Thank you for your fast reply! There's nowt wrong with being a jack of all trades. * insert pretentious New Age quote here* You just do the best with the resources you have and work with that. Don't aim for perfection or "mastery"....nobodies really a fucking a Master of anything, even the Greats (whoever they are?) in business or whatever arena, borrowed and stole from someone else. We're all really learning as we go along, really....
