Here's the English transcript: On a sunny day, Anna and her family went to the beach They brought their towels and umbrellas to the beach Anna was excited because she loved swimming in the sea She dove into the waves and swam with joy After swimming, everyone enjoyed a picnic on the sand They ate sandwiches and fresh fruits While they ate they saw a nearby sandcastle Anna and her brother decided to build one themselves They gathered wet sand and packed it into molds Then they decorated the castle with seashells The sandcastle looked beautiful under the bright sun Suddenly, Anna noticed something in the water It was a starfish moving slowly Carefully she picked it up and showed it to her family Everyone marvelled at the beauty of the starfish They decided to gently return it to the ocean Anna gently placed it in the water And the starfish swam away Anna’s family continued playing on the beach They played beach volleyball and built more sandcastles When the sun began to set everyone sat on the sand They watched the beautiful sunset over the sea The waves whispered as they rolled onto the shore The sea breeze was gentle and relaxing Anna thought it was the perfect day at the beach As they walked back home Anna looked at her family and smiled She knew she would keep that day in her heart forever And so, Anna’s family enjoyed an unforgettable day at the beach

Great learning tool. Only listened to the first one. Agree no need for background music and also no need for the translated words to be repeated in English.

why imperfect is used in this sentence? "Llevaban sus toallas y sombrillas para descansar bajo el sol" 3:42

Please note that at 7.59 mins the English and Spanish do not match. The “todos sentaron”bit should not be there.

In phase 2, why is the Spanish spoken much faster than the English? Seems like it should be the opposite approach.

Great for the verbs - i think the screen changes a touch to fast other than that its a fab learning experience

Am i the only one without subtitles in the actual video? I can enable KZread sloppy subtitles, then have to take an extra step to force my Spanish subtitles into English. And then, they come in upside down, with the recent words on the bottom. Leaving my brain so battled, i can barely concentrate on the Spanish story. Good luck to the rest of you!

The video is divided into three parts. The first part with Spanish subtitles. The second part with Spanish and English subtitles. The third part without subtitles. You do not need to turn on KZread subtitles.
