It's a great history of an old man trying to improve his life. But he is not old. I am 62. I feel great with a lot of energy to do exercise. I do yoga, I play tennis, plus I am learning French

THANK YOU for finding this wonderful woman to narrate!! Her voice is so soothing and her enunciation is so easy to understand! Bravo!!
This is wonderful way to learn French...thank you for the effort you put in this video!
This is actually a good way of learning. But the dictionary at the end doesn't cover most unfamiliar words mentioned in the story like "viser" "se soint" etc the dictionary covers the basic words we already know the meaning to. But overall it's a nice format of learning , infact the best so far. Easy to understand.
I absolutely LOVE this story because it encourages me to keep trying to learn French. I like this format of learning because it gets me wrapped up in beautiful stories while learning! So glad I found your channel. If I keep studying and practicing, one day, I will be able to type my comments in perfect French! But for now, I will say, MERCI BEAUCOUP!!😊🇺🇸
Some of the English texts is incorrect. Particularly the part in the story when the friends start running together. It's should be "ils" instead of "il." Never the less, this is a great resource.

He's not old I'm 78 and still want to learn to speak French. This is fun!
I just love these stories but gotta say that this guy looks more like 80 than 60! Mais jamais trop tard quand meme😘😘
Excellent story, beautiful video, voice easy to listen to. A few suggestions from a person who began studying French a year ago, having had one year of high school French and one year in college - fifty years ago. The second time through we are told to repeat the sentence. We are not given enough time to do so. Also I would like to have the sentence read again after I have repeated it so I can tell if I said it correctly. I also would like more time to give me a chance to make sure I understood the sentence in French before have it repeated in English. I would prefer to have the vocabulary given at the beginning of the lesson, and then repeated the second time at the end of the lesson. The vocabulary words were often the ones most of us would know and need to be specific ones in the story that are not used as often. I am so glad I found this resource and plan to add it to my daily practice routine. Very thankful for all the material available. My pronunciation has improved so much.

Great way to learn French! Thank you!
Learning French is a great challenge to so many of us, but I believe with determination and dedication, I can you can we can 😊 let's not give up. It only takes a little more time to get through it 🎉
I'm a Hongkonger. I like the speaking tone. It's so calm.
Awesome story and presentation, merci beaucoup. I also like that the first read was without the translation. This way, one can try to understand the story on its own. Then it is nice to listen to the story with translation, and finally again without. And thank you very much for making chapters, it's easy to go exactly to the point one wants to listen to. Cheers
I'm watching this after my French private teacher of 3 years, just humiliated me to the ground. She has NEVER taught me listening, never allowed me to speak. She said that I'm not at the level to speak/listen. I cried for an hour, then took matters in my own hand. I will succeed despite her spite.

Lovely stuff. If not yet already planned for, please do some videos for levels B1-B2 and C1-C2, and put into separate playlists. Most YT content only caters to beginners and its very unfortunate that people past being beginner end up abandoned

Great idea, just as a heads up for B1-B2 I tend to watch season 1 of a show I’m interested in so that I get the general story arc. Do so avec sous titres, then watch the following seasons sans sous titres … you’ll be amazed how much you pick up - as for the bits you missed, well that’s your homework 😊🎉

Hi. I am relearning my level B French taught in Spanish here after my radio therapy loss to and inside my melon. I'm 74 and in Mexico without any Spanish or French skills when moving to Mexico in 2014 from Gringolandia. I look for any thing that will help me. This video is very helpful. RT sends, envia, envoie... Colonia Centro Histórico, Puebla, México.
Thanks for helping me to further my knowledge in French. Love your system!!!
As someone learning French, I encounter difficulties, but your advice is motivating. I recently learned about Immersive Translate and intend to give it a try to improve my progress.
La réponse de deuxième ou troisième question : un ami d’Alex a lui dit : tu n’étais pas à l’âge de jeunesse il ne faut pas perdre le temps et l’énergie…. You are not a young man you should don’t lose your time and energy… Thanks a lot your method very effective Mercis beaucoup votre méthode très efficace ❤
The content is very good and is presented in very easy way. Thank you! I have two suggestions for improvement: 1. When showing the translation in English, don't add the English audio, only add the subs. Because this jumping from one language to another has negative effect and is even annoying . Just leave only French audio so we can get into French language flow and whoever needs help with translation can just look at the subs. 2. Keep the questions at the end for a bit longer and why not adding the answers after few seconds.
This is a great way of learning thanks!
I really love this... Good teaching method.
Nice and interactive lesson
It's a lovely video, thank you very much. Personally, I find the English oral translations unnecessary and distracting. I would prefer to read them and listen to French only.
This is really wonderful and perfect for my French level. Just one question. Do you possibly just have the Transcript as one text? I would like to use it to improve on my passe compose and imparfait, SVP?
Thank you so much❤
great video, made me feel so much better about my studies so far. and helped me a lot
Thanks for the posting.
Merci
I really like the video. Thank you for sharing. But I will have a request if its possible. For beginners like me, A1-A2 level, we need more present tense context than past tense. Do you have stories or content in present tense? Thanks
Merci beaucoup!

Mercci!
my aunt in her 80s still managed to be on her own with occasional joining zumba classes, salon visits, etc
i wish this technique for teaching were used when i was young - i probably would have made progress - but the old grammar book way of teaching was in vogue - with new ideas (eg IA Richards books) worming their way in - - the graphics in this video are first rate - and go a long ways in making the story memorable
merci bcp c'est un idèe très belle je voudrai les videos comme ça pour le niveau B1 merci bcp!
