Rashford is the only player that can dissappear for 18-24 months and play well for the last 4 and then regarded the best, incredible. He's not a world class player but rather a form player. He is the perfect example of what a form player. Gives you 4 months of good football for 2 years. United fans wanted him gone less than 12 months ago and now they're all getting carried away

Rashford has never been good for that long. NEVER! He is a top player, but he needs time to prove himself to be considered in that group. If he keeps doing what he's doing until the end of next season and Vini and Saka don't improve then yeah, he'll be at the top of the list. But he's not now

@@samzh0174 that’s fair, he definitely has a lot to learn especially in a Pep squad, but for sheer talent and clinical finishing + the time to learn at his age I’d probably still pick him. In terms of who I’m trusting to be in the right place and score, there’s only really Mbappe and Lewandowski above him for me. He’s missed big chances but the best do from time to time.

you are deluded. Lisandro martinez by far better than silva on the ball. This kid is good enough to play mifield on the bal. his passing, technique is above a defender. I dont think he has even shown 10 percent of his ball playing ability so far. His agression, smarts and defensive nouss have made a lot including united fans forget that kid was literally playing like breking through balls at times for ajax., to the point that I think united have underused him and thats saying something considering how good he's been

I think what people don’t realise is that its Man City’s defence that is poorer this season, not their attacking threat. At this point they’ve conceded 25 goals where last season they conceded 26 all season. Haaland is NOT the issue at City. The have a world class midfield, a world class forward line but an average back line. Akanji and Aké are not good enough for a title defending team, Stones is solid but hardly world class, Kyle Walker is getting on a bit and Sergi Gomez needs a lot of time to develop. Laporte and Dias are great defenders and, with Ederson behind them, is the sort of quality Man City need, the rest of the defence though is seriously lacking.

Vini Jr put last just shows the English hype we have on players

The reason only Arsenal fans rate Saka this highly is because what he does in games that isn't on highlights or late match winners. He's rarely ever under a 7 / 10 each game and is usually a consistent threat to where he gets fouled and double, even triple teamed a game. Rivals don't see it because they don't watch Arsenal weekly. I'm sure it's the same with Rashford if you watched him weekly Man Utd make cases too. I've watched most premier league games this year as I'm a fan of football I watch whenever I can. And Saka is over Rashford as a player. Just has that much more to his game. Rashford is having a class season however.

Rashford has had Mourinho, Van Gaal and Ten Haag now as coaches who are all well known top coaches. Saka has had Emery who is a good manager and an Artets who was new to the game. So the manager point is rather ridiculous. To state injury isn't a factor in ability. Again I'm not saying Rashford is bad not at all. I'd take him in a heartbeat. Saka in my opinion is an overall better player. And will become a world class consistent player for years. His intelligence, strength and tenacity. Improve some finishing which he is, he'll become a 20 goal 15 assist a season Winger.

tbf Martinez came off at like 3 or 4-0 and only one goal was "his fault" cause he slipped on a muddy pitch.

I never thought I would say this but I actually agree with almost all of Rory’s choices 😅 Maybe not his explanations but his choices for sure & how you found someone to make Rory look like he is incredible ball knowledge is beyond me 😅

Based on form, quality and ceiling. Rashford, Vinicius, Saka (tough pick there all very good). Bellingham, Enzo, Rice ( i just think Bell has more potential and Enzo has more quality than Rice). Martinez, Van Dijk, Silva (Martinez obvious first Van Dijk seems a little lost lately).

The only thing I agree on with Dave is the Martinez, Silva and Van Dijk comparison. Takes some balls to say it but he was basically spot on.

Rashford never starts over vini. Martinez over van dijk or silva is crazy. Haaland is a goal machine but he doesn’t offer as much as benzema or Kane.
