Nah kepa has been a rock this season and imo, he's one of the only Chelsea players that seems like he's truly devoted to his club. Even when he fell out of the starting spot, he turned down multiple offers and kept on rooting for his team. That's something almost no player has at Chelsea

It’s all very well looking at players individually, but as Dave alluded to, most depend on playing in certain positions or systems. You have to build the squad around a system, a philosophy, a style. And then recruit accordingly, including the manager/coach

I strongly disagree. I think a kepa is definitely a stay and I don’t see why you’ve got rid of Jao Felix I think that’s a bit stupid but I agree and cuccurela and Mendy

The thing with Enzo is he is an attacking midfielder. He has proven he is capable of some exquisite passes and assists, but he is rather weak defensively. With Argentina, De Paul and Paredes helped cover his weak spots and allowed Enzo to display his full powers. But Chelsea does not have any midfielders that can help Enzo and so he cannot actually play to his fullest when at the club. Scaloni and the Argentina run in Qatar are proof enough the ability and talent are there. You just need the right players and/or system to unlock that. And Chelsea does not have either.

Potter might go soon, but whether he does or he doesn't, then they need to have a clear out in the summer and sell 6-8 players before, they bring anyone new in, like the number 9 they desperately need.

How you gonna say Kepa has to go when he's been a rock this season. Sure he didn't want to get subbed off years ago while Sarri was manager, but he's made so many crucial saves this season

I embarrassed as a Chelsea fan that this guy is representing us. Some ridiculous opinions particularly with Cucurella, Zakaria, Felix and especially Potter. Such a stereotypical Chelsea thing to do to sack a manager after half a season. Sacking him now would a disaster. No point and he deserves more time after what he was achieving with Brighton. We know he is a top manager and he has been given a tough assignment with the amount of players he has been given. The problem we have these days when we debate whether players stays or goes is that we never seem to take into account "squad players". We only think about the players that will be playing on the pitch and this leaves us wanting when players get injured. I think we need to think more analytically and logically than think with our emotions as fans of a football club.

This is were the downfall of Chelsea starts. They spent millions on new players on 8 year contracts. Now they are forced to sell some deadwood to balance the books. Here lies the issue: It is easy to say that someone has to go. But finding a club who actually buys those players is not easy. Especially as the players are on huge contracts that other clubs won't pay. They might prefer sitting on the bench on huge wages than playing for another team. Also, every other team knows that Chelsea are forced to sell. Which is why they will try to take advantage of that and push the price. So they won't be generating as much money from tranfers as some would excpect. On the other hand, if they are not able to get rid of some players, they are screwed longterm. Because due to the long contracts they will be limited for further transfers in the next few years.

Rory talked about how Potters appointment was supposed to bring in a new manager recruitment style into Chelsea, how they tried to go away from getting in a big name manager for 2-3 seasons and go again, and then after less than 6 months say that Potter and the new style of appointing managers has failed, it doesn’t make sense, if Chelsea truly want to try this new style of hiring managers where they look to give time then they need to not throw the toys out of the pram after 5 months. If they sack Potter now then they haven’t even tried to implement this new style of hiring managers, give Potter this season and let’s say the first 10 or so games of next season and then you can say “ We gave Potter the time and he just wasn’t good enough” if things are still crap. I think Chelsea with the player recruitment coupled with Potter as a coach can be a very good side in years to come but I don’t think the Chelsea fans will allow it to happen after how they were conditioned by the Abramovic style of hiring and firing

The amount of times Rory says something he deems as serious and how the rest of the guys laugh at him how much of a joke Rory is

Looking at this as the 23/24 season has just started, the only one in the go category that hasn’t gone is cucurella which I believe is the one Rory wanted Out the most hahahaha

Kovacic is constantly injured that's the issue but he should definitely stay. It's curious Chelsea letting go of players makes other teams better but they don't do it for Chelsea.

This is the one time I think it's not English bias coz Chilly was one of our best players last season and scored and got an assist on his debut

These guys really watch football? Most of the players have arrived this season, they just need time to addapt. First individually to the club and then all together as a a team, Koulibaly and Cucurella are good players. HAVERTZ OUT? He just needs to play in his position.

That is an entire starting line-up for mid-table team. That's astounding and shows their financial might and ineptitude. This is just wild to see the quality of young player who needs to be shipped because the had a pound burning a hole in their pocket.
