you can also say that we haven’t had the same talent around a qb like this in a long time. receivers rbs and o line is the strongest we’ve seen all together in a while

He's a great athlete, state of Alabama high jump and long jump champ his junior year, also ran 200m in 22 low, returned kicks, played wildcat QB, really good WR....swiss army knife player....sleeper of the F4 group.

Hank Brown should likely be the starter game 1. Thorne hasn’t really shown any reason to be given the benefit of the doubt. He never took control of the position last season.

I've got a different take in this day and age. You're not gonna have a Luke Deal 5th or 6th year senior. Redshirt is now irrelevant with the transfer portal. Good/great recruits are out after 3 years. Good/better than average are gone after 4 years. Use the special teams to get these freshman reps. Fresh legs and less responsibility will make special teams better. I just don't see the value of redshirts except for project offensive lineman.
