Me and my wife own a Daycare and Boarding Facility in Southern California that we opened in 2007. My wife stays there 24/7 365 days a year. We charge 22 a day for daycare and for Boarding we charge 32.50 a night. We offer cageless boarding or Kennel Boarding. I love your setup...

Beautiful video. Just remember to take off the prong collar when it’s not in use. It can get snagged. Never leave the dogs alone with the prong collar still on. Avoid and liabilities being so small
In San Francisco, I used to pay $90/night for boarding and $35 for a 3-hour outing with pickup and drop off included, but it has to be 5 days a week. So if I'm traveling, the monthly cost easily goes above $1000. But there are all-inclusive doggie day cares in SF that starts at $1500/mo, that is, no need to reserve spots, walk in and drop off any day.
Not expensive for the personalized perks. What a great boarding experience for dogs!
Thank you for allowing us to take a peek into your daily lives. Im so intrigued learning about everyone else's dog ventures. I love animals and want my next home im planning to be surrounded by them and make decent living in boarding and training.
This is fantastic! Thank you, I am in the planning stages of a 5 year plan to build and open a small family run boarding kennel on our property and so far through my research, your plans are looking to be the most suitable setup. I do agree that 6 kennels may be better to accommodate a couple more dogs without going over board.
Wow! Your rates are fair. I have an in home canine camp and for boarding my rates are $45 per night ($75 for 2 siblings) and $35 for day camp. But having a separate kennel outside of the house but on the property is for sure the goal.

Great rates. And the personal attention is awesome!
We use a local boarding place thats a flat rate for 24 hours. $25 bucks. Its not the nicest facility, but it works. I wouldn't use them if I had a better option. I am here because we are considering opening a kennel on our 30 acres.
Your rates are on par with the Winston-Salem, NC area. Your facility is comparable to the family-owned kennels we've seen around here too. Love your operation, thanks for sharing!
It's very hard work. You guys are great.
Great video! I love the doodle!
What a nice video. I am planning on doing this in five years on our 63 acre property. I learned a lot from you. Keep posting these types of videos. I am a fan.

Great video, very informitive👍🏼👍🏼 also great video quality👌🏼
We visited a dog kennel here in north east Texas, they charged $95 per overnight stay for the bottom tier and $135 night for the high tier. No walking just letting them in the run 3 times a day.
This video was great. I am researching starting dog boarding.
Your prices are actually quite affordable. I’ve seen dog boarding going for $50 a night. Thanks for showing me your business this is very helpful!

I love this video. Thank you for all the information. I've never boarded a dog but my husband recently found out his coworker's wife runs a kennel from their home they charge 35 per night in the kennel or 45 if the owner wants their pet to stay inside a pet room in their home. I'm wanting to do this myself because my daughter just started online school. It would be a great way to be home with her and still have an income. Right now I'm still working a full time job. My daughter has a dream of being a dog trainer and these two businesses would go hand in hand.
also .. it is a leash free kennel, where all the dogs interact, like at a dog park.
I work at a doggy daycare and we always make sure to take off all collars before the dogs are crated because they can get caught and sadly lead to a strangulation!
This is a great and informative video! Thank you

Your prices are amazing!!!! I live in Va. 45-85/night! insane!
I don't know about kennelling here in the UK, but I'm told here that for an example I know a woman who dog walks and charges £12 per small dog and 15 for large dog and she does that Monday to Friday from 8 am until 5pm
That's what I'm looking for
Thanks
Best video thankyou
I love how happy your dogs are!!!! :) Thank you for the video.
Great video. Don't forget to take off the dogs collars while they are in the kennels or not in your eyesight. After working in a kennel and with dogs for decades, I've seen too many accidents with collars being left on during play and in dog runs.
Your rates are super good compared to where I work! We charge $51 a night for “luxury” suites and $41 for classic suites. We probably have 100 dogs a night most nights, 60-70 on a “slow” night. And that’s not including any playtime packages or considering that we don’t have enough employees to take care of that many dogs. There’s maybe 3 people working night shift so we never finish up on time.
Your video is 💯💯💯💯💯

I’ve been boarding for almost four years this August. We’re in NC and we charge the exact same except on major holidays we charge $40 per overnight and if there are siblings the additional pups are $20 each. We have a lot of repeats. It’s enjoyable but it is a lot of work!
@LandingsTokers

@ilovesweett

@@LandingsTokers not necessarily. For me, a pup can be dropped off early one morning sat at 7/8am and as long as they’re picked up by 8pm the next evening then that’s just one overnight charge. 8pm is my cutoff time because I have kids that need to be in bed by then for school and it’s just a respectful time. Anything later they’re going to be charged another night and if they aren’t willing to pay it then they won’t be coming back.
i think that is a good price ! i pay 28 a day in racine per night, but mine is a hidden gem but they are retiring next year. i checked around and found out around milwaukee they charge 55 to 75 a night. i would pay up to 50 a night. for what you offer, charge alittle more. good luck. love your videos.

$35 wouldn't even be worth my time! All the time of feeding, walking them, cleaning up after them, communicating with the owner not to mention whatever overhead... I'm sorry, I would be charging like $55 at least. But I also live in WA state where everything is expensive af
You know a lot of these people are saying your price is fair but if you ask me you guys need to be charging a little more. For what you guys offer you guys should get paid accordingly. This stuff is a lot of work.
I do rover (dog boarding app) in my home and I charge $43/night in Long Island NY, so $35/day is very very cheap. Good job y'all... I'm very interested in the Solar trailer, any recommendation on where to get a good one?
i dont really like poodles but damn them dooble cross breeds are cute :)

@@jessicasullivan5911 Hi, my sister is vet too, and I told her about this business buy she lives in another country. Did you start pet kennel??
It sounds like you guys have a different lifestyle or possibly no mortgage plus KZread income. 4 kids on $51,000/year if the kennel is booked every day of the year doesn't seem like enough. My wife and I want to do something similar. There are so many dogs around us including our own, but no commercial dog boarding/doggy day care.
How much would you estimate you make a year?

$25 a day, AND $35 a night. So $60?? Maybe, but I perceive you don’t charge enough but I’m from California so expenses are higher
You ever have a dog jump your fence?
That's cheap with walks included.
That's not expensive. Very reasonable
$60 right in there. But if you are turning people down, I'd go to $70. I guess it depends on how many customers are in your radius. Because of the long walks, I think it is worth $75. People spend the same on dogs as their kids these days.
That's so inexpensive. It's that price for a dog WALK here. Easily $75 and up for overnight at ranch/ kennel
