How to Build a Chicken Run🐣
The story of how I had no clue how to build a chicken run until I was forced to figure it out.
Chicken keeping has been such a rewarding experience, not in just the raising of the hens themselves but also in the building of their chicken coop, the run, and all the DIYs such as their feeder and waterer🐣💕
My lovely ladies are pets, so I am raising my chickens for eggs only! Hence their super safe home. If you have any chicken recs, please let me know!🐓

Love your videos!! Just a warning though, the water cups are great but if you live in a climate where winters are really cold the water in the little cups will freeze and crack the cups learned the hard way lol.🫶🏼💕

Good job on building your run👍. Instead of staples pan-head screws are your best best they give you a better stability & you won’t have to hammer at the post. Going to build a run soon because our free ranges chickens unfortunately 7 got picked off by hawks & we lost 2 chickens & rooster couple weeks ago. We took the last of the eggs from our rooster and chickens that passed and today 3 have hatched 😁. Wish you the best on your journey to raising chickens.

That water thing you made is fantastic. Where do you purchase the little cups? Your build has really inspired me. I bought coop plans off etsy but I am totally overthinking it. Love how your chicken play area turned out.

Barely holding it together but i am here for it.
I use screws with large thin washers to attach hardware cloth. I love hardware cloth for my chickens but i hate HATE working with it!! I also have a hen named Clover. I picked that name bc she was a scaredy cat when she was a chick. She would freak out and panic even we would turn out the lights at night. She would get out of the brooder, climb me and put herself in my hair on my shoulder. I spent many a night sleeping in the recliner with her on my shoulder. So i liked the name bc it has lover in it but i didn't want to name her Lovey or something else like that. So cLover it was....
