Love your setup! This inspired us to do the same for our mals, we just bought our first Retriever kennel today. Why the artificial turf? Is it just for ascetic purposes? Where did you get it and is it easily cleanable? Love your channel, thank you for all the knowledge.

Wonderful video. In case you haven’t try products from K9ballistics, we bought our working line GSD an elevated bed from K9ballistics and we loved it. Our little land shark have chewed every corner of it and it is still intact, it has very good quality. Thank you for all your videos.

Very good kennels for the interior. Very easy to set up. I put some on the outside, but i notice, they are starting to rot. Maybe it is because i live in the northeast, and winters are tuff. But these are very nice systems..very good video.

One of the best and most valuable videos to date! I have a kennel I set up for my Mal outside for very similar use. I have now some great ideas for indoor setup which will be a huge plus due to the weather here in NW Georgia. And great point at the end .... this breed is different then most. I am just 6 months in with my male pup and no matter what training I implement there are still certain characteristics that these dogs have that you can’t force them to conform from to meet your needs.....you must adapt and be willing to meet their needs there are no exceptions. But once you figure out how the reward is priceless...and so is this video. Thank you @Maligatormom

love the baskets and kennels. I am planning a space for my working border collies in our heated detached garage as well. However, I plan to offer a dog door for each kennel to individual outside runs. Do these retriever kennels allow for fixing to the wall on the back side?

That's way cheaper than I thought they'd be. Gonna have to get one for my female GSD.

In what situations do you put them in their kennels? For how long at a time?

How often do you take the dogs out of the kennel? Do you allow visits? I'm not currently interested in purchasing a pup, but more networking. I'm a German Shepherd breeder.

I’ll be getting my Mal in 2 weeks and struggling to pick the right crate size for him. Do you think future proofing and getting a larger crate would be ideal or rather get the right size at the right time. For example as you currently have a new pup (congrats btw) at 8 weeks etc what size crate do YOU get? Thanks in advance!!

Hey Elias I had a 3 mo. Old Mal in a 35” L x26 Width with a divider. She’s 1 yr now and the divider is removed. She’s comfortable in the kennel and has room in it as well. It’s up to your discretion. Her transport kennel is much smaller to limit the room for safety.

Try Karanda dog beds they may work better

Do you use a nanny transport? How do you ship your dogs to their owners

I found you accidentally as I was looking for Doberman training as I am a Doberman person. One of my best friends own 2 Belgium Malinois and I shared your link. She will highly enjoy learning from you as I have. I absolutely loved your crate training! Even though I have never owned a Belgium Malinois it still helps as a Doberman is a working breed as well. On another note after talking to my friend on Saturday and she telling me that a Belgium Malinois is not for everyone I was curious when I spotted your channel and I clicked it. This is great that you have shared this because this specific dog could go to someone who does not have your level of commitment it will not work. I also love your discipline with the dogs!!! I had a question for you with choosing the right Doberman from a breeder you can choose one with a lower drive. With Belgium Malinois is that the case or are they all High Drive? Just wondering as they are so smart I wonder if for someone who prefers a dog that adapts to your lifestyle but still highly smart & loyal that is how we fell in love with the Doberman Breed, would that be an option for someone wanting a Belgium Malniois? Our Dobermans have now both passed away and we are looking for a puppy. Just curious. thank you!!!

Hi! Thanks for the feedback and to answer your question yes, you absolutely can find a low drive Malinois that would be a great fit for an active family but not as “drivey” ...

I have 2 working dogs and would like to set this up. Would I purchase one 10x5 and buy and extra door panel?

We live in NY. Did you wind up doing anything to insulate the floors? We just did an epoxy on our garage floors and 1/2 up the wall, and we use the same kennels. We will be heating the garage and we use Kuranda beds, but I can still imagine that floor being pretty cold.

Have you had any of your dogs chew to get? I have a 10x10 and one of my males tried to chew his way out, thankfully I was in the yard and seen it to stop him before he did too much damage, but I know for a fact he could chew his way out so I can’t leave him in it if I’m not outside watching. I just bought one and sure hope my year old shepherd doesn’t! We have a huge fenced in yard and only reason I bought a kennel for outside is because she grabs rocks in our yard and chomp chomp and I can’t get her to stop so I stopped letting her loose to run with our other 2 dogs… question: our yard is so un level, is that going to be unsafe?

Is your garage air conditioned? I know you're in TN, we're in SC and I would love to do this for our 2 mals but our garage is so hot in the summer and if I went away and left them in kennels I wouldn't leave the door open for airflow due to security. Thanks!

Hmmm you mentioned purchasing (3) 5x10 kennels and each kennel is $399. So 3x$400 = $1200 but @ 6:00 you said it was a total of $800. Am I missing something?

These kennels are prone to paint peeling and rusting. And this type of dog kennel is the easiest dog kennel for dogs who climb to climb out of. Even easier than chain link fence kennels.

This is video is obviously made by a product influencer to promote Retriever kennels. Note, these kennels are prone to paint peeling and rusting, and bar style kennels are better because dogs who climax can easily claim out of this type of kennel, even easier that chain link fenced kennels.
