Why do we accept support in this way?
I, Martin, can already sustain myself 100% doing what I love to do. If you want to support artists/organisations who have not yet reached that privileged position, please consider supporting other artists/organisations who need the support more. With that said, I have too many ideas and too little time and with your support I can get more help from people around me to execute the ideas better and bring them out in the world faster.

Looks like she's only pushing two keys for percussive effect. It'd be cool if they hooked up each key to a different note, that way it'd be a real keyboard.

the original percussion was a projector, and that wasnt something they could preform the same way with live, so they improvised.

I am just listening to this song the 1000st time. Tear drops in my eyes again. Dont know if I could stand a real Wintergatan concert.
I won't lie, this is the most random set of instruments in a band I've ever seen.
This is the nicest audience ever! I usually hate live versions because the cheering and the screaming usually distracts me and annoys me because it doesn't make me enjoy the music, but here they cheer and make themselves hear just at the end and it is nice.

2020 marble machine from this is astounding in 4 years. I don't think most recent comments realise how much you have concentrated on this pursuit. Aye Aye Captain.

I think one of the things that makes Wintergatan's music so unique is that there is never one "correct" version of a song. They are always approaching their songs at different angles which makes each performance/version special. I'll always enjoy the studio recording of their songs, but watching their music evolve from before and after is always interesting and fun.
This is the reason i have no problem paying for public German TV and radio stations. Thank you WDR
Absolutely beautiful. I also love how you captured the sound of the slide projector from the original song... with a typewriter.
Such an impressive little machine!

@@SinclairWest Remember back in 2016 when a bunch of celebrities died and an idiot got elected and we thought it was the worst year ever possible? Ah, how naive we were then. 2016 was a paradise compared to 2020 (and to a lesser extent, 2021 so far). I just hope there isn’t someone in 2024 talking about how naive we were in 2020. It would take an asteroid impact or WWIII or a nuclear catastrophe to be worse than 2020 though. I need to stop, I’m just giving the world ideas at this point.
