Starlink Custom Mount Installed
I made a custom mount for installing our Starlink Dish using a Speed Rail hand rail system. I’m very pleased with how well this install turned out and I would highly recommend this for making a custom install.

Probably the best set up I’ve seen so far. Looks really nice too. I haven’t even received my Starlink yet but your video is giving me a great idea on how to get it up high. Appreciate you brother.
Well thought out and well done. Ditti the comment about leaving the router in the attic. 😉

Thank you! And yep it’s on the things to do list.
Looks good.
I'm in Virginia rural too. Jjst mounted to house in exact same spot with the mount from Starlink. Still not high enough so I want to extend it higher with a pole. So I just ordered the Starlink pipe adapter. It allows you to snap the antenna into adapter that attaches to end of pole with set screws. My concern once I do it is the wind loading. I an to use to connection points like you did to the house, but even then I'm thinking wind my still move it. So I'm thinking of adding 2 guide wires.
Has the wind been a problem what so ever?

No wind issues at all. It’s rock solid.
they advertise 50ft of cable for set up but they actually give you 75 ft is that correct?
Thank you for the video. A quick search on Amazon/Google did not find the speed rail attachments. Any chance you could share a link?

@@luthersg Perfect! Thank you.
I can't find those speed rail things on Amazon. Do they go by another name?

Zoro or Grainger, you should be able to find them there.

@@luthersg -- Awesome; thanks!
I wouldn't leave the router in the attic, only rated to take 104 degrees F

I plan on moving it down into a room, I just need to find a good location and I want to bring in down within the wall and out a low voltage box into that room so it looks good.
