The Takeoff and landing ship sound is really amazing on this game. Anyway, that's a great exterior design, however the interior issssss to many stair. Still, your design is great mate

I have no interest in recreating in Starfield ship designs from Star Wars or other fictional universes, but this video gave me something to think about for my perfect ship, which I base on modern rockets.

Weapon systems are optional. You can put much more expensive and higher damage weapons and it can pulverize enemies in seconds.

@@cardinal151515 right, understood. What I was asking was, did you design this with the weapons for just the looks or do you actually use it (as is) in the game on your character? Like some builds I've seen are strictly for looks (maybe even can fly decently) but the weapons are simply to enhance the look and don't perform well. Also, given some of the really good ones can add some decent mass, is this tuned for any additional weight (landing gear and/or engines) that if I were to change them out, would I suffer any major drop in mobility or have to add gear?

Stats are on the lower side, a ship with that low cargo should fly with at least 150 speed and 100 mobility. And 20ly jump is very low for a ship this mass. Maybe the author was still low level? There's a lot of room for improvement, specially changing those engines. They suck, they can barely move their own mass and that's why the ship lost some mobility although it's not heavy for a C-class

​@@user-ij9cv4wx7etop speed is based on the highest class engines. And with these being C class engines, you can't get higher than 130 without skill points to boost speed. Mobility is 90 which is decent - from what I've experienced, anything 85+ is decent - obviously higher is better. But weight comes into play. So this is good given you'd have to compromise mobility for looks. I'm sure with some finesse of parts, you may be able to get more but I was wondering about armament.

@@williamludwick77 My tiny ship has 4 rooms, 8 crew, all stations, maxed weapons, 150 speed, 100 mobility, more than double its cargo (half of it hidden cargo), +2 scan jammers, and it weights a lot less than this one. I'm literally moving 1564 mass with A-Class engines, how's that C-class can't perform equally with 2200 mass? Why? Simple: wise mass distribution. This ship weights a lot for the low cargo it has, and both the engines and the grav drive are not powerful enough to perform well this mass. The problem is that the pieces responsible of moving that mass ARE the main contributors to that mass. As stated before, they can barely move themselves.
