I tried hard to understand why i like Lowko's vids so much and don't care at all about other SC2 casters. I think it's a combination of a very friendly and respectful atmosphere he creates on his channel (both towards viewers and players) and how deeply involved with the game he is himself : it's obvious he likes it on many levels, and that's contagious. Keep it up.

Lowko I have to say, I love that you just jump right into the game. No 30 second into, annoying animation, or sounds. Just right into the action. Thanks for consistently making my lunch breaks entertaining!

Blast from the past! Watching this in 2023, just after Innovation returned from his military "time-out". Interesting to see the changes in gameplay - as well as the differences in Lowkos voice and style! For both: some things never change, and some things do change. Good stuff!

That final zergling rush up the ramp as the Terran units are trying to retreat into the main... "Knock, knock." "Who's there?" "Zeeeeerg ruuuuuush!" Timing I will never have, sigh. Ha ha.

So, in looking at the time on the video, I didn't think they were going to play all 5 games. They do.

A 37 min Bo5... I haven't watched yet but I already know whats gonna happen

I used to play sc2 long ago but now have absolutely no time now to play. I like to think I'm playing when I watch these videos...lol

Innovation's cheese. now i have seen everything.

I've known SC2 back when it was still just WoL, and until now I'm not good at playing against people. I know there's tons of info and vids out there about strategies, builds and the like, but there's a myriad of them that it's so overwhelming to check out one by one. I barely have time to play SC2, and when I do, I either play against people or in Arcade. Where do I even start? I don't know how to macro, micro, scout properly against ppl, and most importantly multitask fast, but I've modified most hotkeys e.g. those affecting units and buildings so I guess that's a step.

this is my favorite series on the channel apart from the campaign lets play

Maps like Steppes of War are necessary to add variation of styles to competitive play.

I think what made Innovations first cheese so powerful is because he's so predictable that Impact initially went for a standard build thinking Innovation was gonna be predictable, but decided to do something unpredictable.

Stutter stepping roaches vs hellbats is kinda trippy. I'm not used to seeing zerg kiting terran.

Huuuuge fan of steppes of War here many build orders only possible on this map as Zerg or Protoss, I love it. To me it's like what dust II is to CS:GO

Steps of war was basically cheesers win, non cheese won't. (Most of the times)

In Korean keyboard, w types out ㅈ, which makes the "g" sound. so that's where it comes from. ㅈㅈ = gg

I hate it, when people fly their barracks away. They are completely fine buildings! #StopThatWaste

I have heard many people say things like "1-1-1 can't be punished" and "1-1-1 is the safest terran build." It gives you very little production and you say its the safest? This video proved not only is 1-1-1 very easily punished, but Cyclones are not even close to as good as people say it is. Like Lowko said here, 19:44 Cyclones are not cheap, and they are worse than the Siege tank in every way. Does shit damage to air, and almost loses a 1v1 to a unsieged siege tank. Also, 70%-90% of the time the cyclone will not deal 100% of its DPS in one second because of its attack animation. It also does fuck all to air. Every unit in the game that can shoot air does more damage than it. The biggest reason people go for it is because it does not need a tech lab, even though a tech lab takes almost no time to build.

Is "No denying..." the new "in just a matter of seconds..."?

I just assumed that WW was Well Won.

Steppes of War was a terrible map - it was pretty much asked for cheese. Too much gambling in the first part of the game. Hated it so much!

Yeah, I very much so disliked Steps of War... It was just small enough to have little to no time to react to situations when scouted properly.

well he lose a lot too ealy agression from zerg, this is what happened in this match and in a lot fo other recently. he even lost too Scarlett. maybe its because he stop playing bio

Not sure if that is true for the Koreans. I have read elsewhere that the 'w' key results in a Korean character that is equivalent to the 'g' sound in English. That said, in Japan W is very much the equivalent of lol. I used to live in Japan, and you would see 'w' used all the time as shorthand for わらう (warau = to laugh).

So the dude who calles himself invation isnt inventiv? ;)
