About the names, am I missing something or is this a joke? Since one character = 8 digits of 1 or 0. Does any ramp even add up to a multiple of 8?

nope why they are off and such, think whoever did the ramps wasn't at their best as they all have 10 digits but as what it actually says is gibberish and GG was 1 bit out of the first 8 i'd say its quite safe to assume it was meant to be GG

Lowko can you recommend to Blizzard that they rename it to the roleypoley upgrade next update? I think that is a far superior name

I thought by the title this was going to be Innovation.

In that second game it is such a routine to put the tanks into siege mode but when zerg have Ravengers you never do it. Just have the siege tank move, it still does decent damage to armoured and opponent will usually target it with everything else which lets your marines go on a killing spree for those few seconds.

Impressive Bio micro. He actually chased every slngle roach to be able to have the upper hand there

@Lowko At the end of game two, that fight was so epic that you missed the counter attack into Keen's base. Looked like he sent the zerglings away while the doom drop happened, by how fast the clump was moving on the mini-map lol.

If a command centre landed on a zergling the thruster legs would mean the zergling wouldn't be crushed. It then could unburrow within the command centre. Your Commanders would object to that.

That only answers to why they wouldn't want to land on it, but not why it's not possible to land the command centre on top of the zergling. They can't see the zergling, they don't know it's there, so how is it preventing them from landing?

The reason the Terran buildings can't land on burrowed units is because they have sensors that detect lifeforms on the surface, but also after having fought the Zerg also just below the surface also as a protection measure against landing on a nest of banelings! ...probably

Quick binary lesson! The number system we use most often (decimal, also known as base 10) uses of course 10 different numbers (0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9). Once we run out of numbers we increase next place and put a 0 in the previous spot (9->10). Same with binary but you only now have two numbers to work with, 0 and 1. So we start with 0, 1 then we run out of numbers to use! So 3 in binary will be 10 in binary, we continue with 11 (ran out of numbers...) 100, 101, 110, 111, 1000 etc... To then read it is a bit harder. To read decimal (example 123) we can change it slightly to a different format. 1 * 10^2 + 2 * 10^1 + 3 * 10^0 = 100 + 20 + 3 = 123 (Hence where we get base 10 from!) with binary (which is base 2) (Example in the map, 0110011001) it reads out to be 1 * 10^8 + 1 * 10^7 + 1 * 10^4 + 1 * 10^3 + 1 * 10^ 0 = 256 + 128 + 16 + 8 + 1 = 409 in decimal! Great! We now have a number, but how can we convert it into letters? ASCII is what is commonly used to represent characters (Doesn't support emojis or anything, just letters and symbols) each letter needs 8 bits (one bit = 0 or a 1) also known as a byte, to make sure it covers all the characters (Upper case, lower case etc.) So it splits up the number into 8 bit segments (in our case 01100110 will be a letter and 01 will be a letter) converting those two numbers like we did above and looking at an ASCII table, we can figure out that it reads "f" where isn't really a character, just a placeholder to represent "Start of a heading" www.asciitable.com/ TLDR: 0110011001 = f (Meaningless) (Newer ways of representing it like Unicode (instead of ASCII) are able to represent more symbols, emojis etc. But require more data per letter!) 8 Bits (one byte) can get you a grand total of 255 unique numbers, each repersenting a different thing, want more stuff? Get more bits!

The reason that raven worked so well in the first game was because Rouge went for the seige tanks instead of dealing with the raven first. Idk why me sent his unupgraded ultras into the tanks and lib zones. If he yanked the raven those queens would have toasted it. Terran was slow pushing so he had time, especially after the banes connected to the MMM just beforehand.

IMO the deal was sealed when Rouge lost so many workers throughout the game and his army couldn't compete with the terrans at that stage of the game.

It's one of the special abilities of the Orbital Command. (Upgraded Command Center) The ability upgrades an existing supply depot doubling its supply output. The animation is an orbital drop. You only see it when a Terran is supply capped and desperate. Usually they prefer to spend the energy on MULEs or Sensor Scans.

Lowko, I dont think thats binery since thats stands for a Byte which contains 8 bits starting from 0 to 7 which is 8 that one has 10 unless its a 16 digits one. Which then it would count as 409. Hope u find it helpful if something here, one byte it read from right to left like 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0 the values would be 7-128 6-64 5-32 4-16 3-8 2-4 1-2 0-1 if u had 2 bytes it would be 16 15 until 8 and it would double it last value so 128 to 256 and so on. Sorry for the long explanation 😂😂😂

where are you getting the "Y" from? binary works in 8 digits per character/symbol. The maps number has 10 digits, the first 8 of them are f and the other 2 digits are useless and certainly dont account to a Y not in binary or any other code/language that im aware of if anything it actually says f01 but its not normal to mix languages like that. Or if you discount the 1st 2 digits then it produces a ™ symbol but since its a 10digit number fudging it into binary is pretty pointless you may as well jumble the numbers up and say it says whatever you want IMO it is just worthless decor or someone messed up and it should have been a G on each line. either way, as it stands it not only has no hidden meaning it has no meaning at all its just something that the map designer thought would look nice on the ramps, shame its not an easter egg though EDIT. I think i just realised where your getting the Y from, if you put the 10 digit number written twice then the first 16 digits of the 20 will decode to fY but your ignoring the other 4 digits and the fact that theres a line break midway through the Y. any attempt to make sense of this seems to be clutching at straws
