Today an older woman told me her daughter bought a home but when they went for the loan the bank refused to give them more than the house was appraised for, so the seller was forced to sell the home for below asking price because the bank wouldn’t lend out more money. That happened to me I declined I told the buyer then get some money per day never showed back I sold it to somebody else I would not lower my price of my home. I sold it like a week later for the price that I wanted

Starbucks coffee is terrible, a 4 shot latte barely tastes like coffee. A Peet’s medium latte is half the cost and has great flavor, no extra shots needed. My local EXTRA MILE/CHEVRON has a machine that brews you a large coffee with freshly ground beans you choose and it makes it once you push the button… costs only 2.29. Nice and frothy 10th one FREE. Doesn’t ask for a 18-25 percent tip for taking your orders either.. STARBUCKS COFFEE IS TERRIBLE!!

My friend just came back from celebrating her 60th birthday with her grown kids and their families. They all went to Florida, rented a house, and spent the day at Universal Studios. I asked her how expensive it was. She said that a one scoop ice cream cone was $10. A bottle of water was $5. Entrance to the park, $200 for one person. Add ons, plane tickets, house rental, car rental. Nope. Not even enticing, except for the weather.

I have a good friend that is a store designer at Starbucks and she’s now working interviews outside the company to bail out. The woke culture has destroyed the company.

Our local coffee shops are full of young people, they don't go to ugly Starbucks anymore.

Buying a good coffee/cappuccino/whatever machine and making your own is much better. I picked up a clearance cappuccino machine from Wally World for less than $50.

I’ve run maintenance for 500+ retail stores with multiple drink and coffee machines. The roach issue is rare for major chains. Sure some stores may have to do some extra pest control if a problem becomes known. I doubt Starbucks has this problem.

Starbucks is infuriating. I feel like they hire and keep lazy workers because they are afraid to get sued for firing them and it hurts the people who are there to do a good job. I ordered a traveler for my daughter's teachers and it took them 30 minutes to fill the freaking order despite there being like 6-7 employees working. I could not figure out what the damn problem was. Brew coffee, dump into container and be done !!! My $20 Mr. Coffee machine is faster. Just give me the container and I'll brew the crap myself!

I believe it! My teen works at McDonald's and theyre normally busy- last 2 weeks have been slow so theyre reducing hours.

What makes this current environment so bad is we are experiencing compounded issues, high inflation, high rent, high mortgages, high cost of living, economic down turn.

Banks do not want you to cash out a large portion of your accounts. Seams like my cash is theirs and the banks look for any reason not to give you cash.

We were on the road yesterday with our dogs and stopped into Sonic for a quick meal. I had a combo consisting of 3 chicken fingers, fries, and a small drink. My husband had a burger, tater tots, and a drink. We got 2 plain burgers for the dogs. So, two combo meals for us and two plain burgers for the dogs ran us $29, and my husband also tipped the server who brought our food out. That’s a lot of money for a “fast food” meal.

I say to each his own, I'm 67 still working, want to / need to situation and will work as long as I can just my deal..... I pack my lunch and make coffee at home every day and saves us " alot " doing this give it a try for a while, most will be surprised it's like giving yourself a raise

Our Stop and Shop (grocery store) just announced they will close this fall. We noticed over last few months no lines and very few customers.

I have tried Starbucks 3 times, had to throw the coffee away each time nasty tasting coffee-very bitter. Day old Folgers warmed up tastes better, I'm not a big Folgers fan either. When the lights go out, law enforcement will be protecting their own families-which they should, time for people to get off their butts and do it yourself.

Nowadays tgere are some amazing micro brew coffees out there. Many are organic and single sourced. Blows away Starbucks.

Great analogy with the tigers back and Powell. Starbucks has always been burnt flavored….only tried it a handful of times, different stores, different types. I make my own coffee at home.

I was always told . Pawn shops were the barometer for how the economy is doing . Guess now it's Starbucks .

Preparing is rather costly. People need to purchase enough food, pay off debt and prepay bills, include gold/silver, include alternate heat and light source, add security to home and self defense, have at least a 6 month worth of emergency savings, extra fuel for car, vegetable garden, water, first aid, bug out bag, a 2nd Job etc.. Overwhelming.
