You can turn the wings into flight mode manually until you hear a click. This locks it into place. I do it all the time with mine and it still displays perfectly

The last time I was this early, star wars wasn't even around.

This was a GREAT video, Erin. Really fantastic seeing the two versions right next to each other. VERY well-produced and efficiently done. As I own the original, I won't be shelling out the big bucks for the new version, despite its obvious improvements. I do feel like a talented customizer (not me!) could easily weather the old version to look as good as the new one. The one thing I REALLY wish the old version had was the clear-windowed "detention cell." Darn!

In my life time so far, I owned Slave 1981 and now the 2020 version.. love the both, but the 1980s er long gone though sadly

I reasontly got my 2020 release release from zavvi November 2020 knocked down to £79.99 i believe to pre order got mine almost level in flight mode with armour up bobba fett and jin d pre beska armour in the passenger seat

Erin, you know the wings have to clck into place for flight mode? Make sure the ship is upright, then keep pushing until they click.

Aw, sorry to hear. Have you tried opening the cockpit and pressing the tab under the seats? Maybe try some silicone lubricant into the tab slot and in the wing sockets/ mechanism.

@@Beedo_Sookcool yeah that true, that's why I loved the micro machines action fleet as a kid,most of thos vehicles were to scale with the mini gigs they came with.

Now you have to do it again soon. Woo Hoo . I’m sad no lights or sounds were added

I wouldn’t be surprised.

I'm pretty impressed with the new standard Hasbro is using for TVC vehicles. While the paint is better than the 2013 one, I just can't seem to justify the price for the new release. It is a bit conflicting, perhaps if it went on sale. The previous releases of TVC vehicles were pretty good, but they do lack quite a bit of paint weathering. Seems like Hasbro is pulling all the stops on the paint work now a days. I passed on the new Falcon too, already had the Legacy one. I do re-buy all the new photo-real characters though.

It’s a repaint of the vehicle to align more with the Book of Boba Fett appearance. You still get the stand and the back or bottom (depending on your point of view) is still painted. Same mold though as the handful of other releases which is why I do far have skipped this one. The price upon release was just too high for me to justify another one.

No, it’s 3.75” scale.

The price has more than doubled compared to 2013. What a rip off... Sure it has minor extra features and a much better, or much more complete, paint job. But that should be +20-30$, not more... On sale for 100$, but would not pay more...
