This could definitely be the cheap-o replacement for those who can’t afford the bigger one all it needs is a good paint job and it should look just as good.

If you do customize the figure, I'd love to see how it turns out.

I love that your backyard lends well to desert background. I have a sand pit that was the base for an old above ground pool that works well for photos. i have the Lego version of Slave 1 that is between the two sizes.

I have the smaller set and I love it, I got it for roughly 20 dollars and there is almost no scuffing, easily paintable, and just fun to play with. The only main problem is the size. But for a young kid, it’s pretty much perfect.

Its almost like an old kenner mini rig from back in the day! Comically undersized but fun

The 5-point boba fett feels more like he is illustrated in modern comics, while the other feels more like it's movie accurate,

The figure looks really good to me. Ship is a bit small, but still good. It's something I could see a kid being able to really play with. Also, something that could really get customized easy enough.

I have the 2015 version on my wall.

This is actually my favourite Slave 1. It’s actually playable and is more then just a display piece like the other giant ones. Wish I bought it for 15 bucks way back when now my cheapest local listing is $100 :|

Dan-O you can articulate his wrists by cutting off his hands, drill holes in arm and hand and use wire or cut paper clip. Glue it into hand side since it'll be in hand less far then arm

The first bigger version of slave one is from the clone wars line of figures, not episode two. Whoever told you that doesn't know their star wars stuff very well.
