The Boba helmet actually looks like the right size for her. Sabine's helmet could have been made smaller and still be removable. I hope they don't give up removable helmets all together. Use swappable heads where it makes sense but stick with removable helmets wherever possible. The new Vader proves they can do it right.

Check out the Resistance action figure Synara San, which has a removable helmet. It's a softer rubbery plastic, and it looks great when put on and is easily removable. My theory is that Hasbro no longer has access to a factory that can produce helmets using this softer plastic at an affordable price for them. It's true that Sabine's helmet cannot be sized smaller when using a HARDER plastic. So this is a technical excuse to cover for them unwilling to pay for helmets using the softer plastic that would allow for a smaller sizing. Swappable heads are probably cheaper for them to produce, too, which I feel are no fun in terms of play.

It’s a bummer that everything about this Sabine is genuinely solid except for the helmet. AND CONGRATS TO THE COMMUNITY FOR GETTING ALL THE TIERS ON THE GHOST UNLOCKED! 🎉

I was thinking the same! I remember I put it on Bo Katan but don’t remember how it fit. I know it’s a little bigger but it’s not as big as the new one.

Awesome review! I like Sabine in the Ahsoka series. The transformation from, let's say comic figure into a real life person is what I had expected. And as cat lover I am so glad that there's a Loth-Cat creature. 😊

It's a nice figure but it's absolutely crazy that they want 28 quid for it. Everything in the box could easily fit on a cardback and it doesn't have any more paint apps than the 5poa versions from a few years back that cost less than a tenner. The characters from Ahsoka that I REALLY want in TVC are the two Fallen Jedi. Although they'll probably have to put Baylan in a deluxe box because he's 6'3" and plastic doesn't grow on trees ya know

I don't expect it to cost as little as a 5POA figure but it's criminal that it costs more than other figures in the line, particularly when they sell us Yodas with swivel elbows and R2-D2s that can't rotate their heads when the third leg is extended for the same price as ROTJ Boba Fett

I think the symbol on Sabine's left shoulder bell is the space whale(?). I agree that the helmet is too big, but it bothers me that there isn't a place to put her paint gun. There is even a pouch on the side of her satchel and it would have been a great place to have a slot for the paint gun.

I can't wait to add her to my collection of Mandalorians!!

Did you try to see if/how Bo-Kataan's helmet fits on Sabine? Her helmet should've been a swappable head from the very beginning. Considering this was a Deluxe figure, that was really the only way to go. I mean, what was Hasbro thinking?

Finally this figure of Sabine did arrive at the store I visited and I bought it.

The blue pauldron is sports a "Purrgil," the space whale in the series. This is the same armor Sabine wore in the final episode of Rebels.

I just got her too . First thing u noted was the helmet as well. Glad it's removable & the size really isn't anan issue. It's a plus because in years past the helmets would rub paint off of hair,etc. Fantastic likeness and finish.

If the cat has a ball joint, then perhaps change Sabines head and that helmet might fit snuggly…🤣👍🏽

Great video Tim, loved the little ‘oh dear’ prologue 😂 Awesome figure, but that helmet is just awful, should never have been approved by Hasbro…did they really think the community would accept that? Must admit I haven’t ordered this. I want the figure, but on this occasion am prepared to wait for another release of Sabine or might pick it up if it goes on sale, but felt I’d vote with my wallet in this occasion. It still seems to have sold out everywhere, which surprises me a bit as the helmet ruins it.

Has anyone tried fitting one of the 5POA Sabine Helmet's onto this? I wonder if it would fit better and be a simple matter of repainting it.

Bossk should head swapped Bo Katan's helmet so we could of had a looksy at the scale of it.

I think this figure looks great. It is a shame that the spray gun doesn't come with some sort of effect piece and perhaps a way to have it clip onto the shoulder bag or be stored inside of it.

Once they release this figure on the mural card later, hopefully they do a swappable helmet head rather than the way it is now. Now that all the tiers are unlocked for the Ghost - I really want to know if we can get the crew figures separately in the future. Seems pretty crappy that collectors have to choose between having them loose to display with the Ghost, or keeping them on those beautiful mural cards. I know they suggested there won't be figures in those Rebels final season outfits, but that seems like a MAJOR missed opportunity. Especially since it's also seems very unlikely we'll get a Kanan figure from the Ahsoka series.

Because the helmet has a completely different design shape. Also those helmets are way too small too.

Wish I could of backed the ghost but I checked the measurements and I can't find from in my small flat to put it 😢

Funny, for the Empire Strikes Back Boba Fett and every Jango Fett figures I always thought the helmets were too small for their scale. Now, Sabine and Axe Woves have giant helmets... Hasbro seems to have only managed to make a good removable helmet on the Boba Fett figure from the Mandalorian and TBOBF

I mainly collected TVC but I ended up going for TBS live action Mandalorians because I just didn’t like the helmet size of the figures with the removable helmet.

new torse, legs are same, using parts from rebels basic line, new parts, feet are same as bo too,

Thanks for the review Bossk, and I'm impressed with your restraint at not complaining more about the REALLY bad oversized helmet (you'd think they learn from the Clone Trooper fiasco) Someone at Hasbro design need a reprimand ! Is it possible to swap out the head with the 5POA Sabine head ? I bought multiples of the 5POA Sabine intending to make a more articulated custom, so maybe I could customise one of those 5POA helmet heads to fit this TVC one ?

Cool review. Such a shame about the helmet. Amazing that it's that much bigger than the Fett helmet! Can't understand why it had to be bigger than that. Guess Hasbro had a tough decision when they saw that first helmet come off the production line to either delay the figure for many months and try to make a swappable head or keep the helmet and get the figure out while the show is first airing. No way they saw that helmet and thought it was fine. The insignia on her blue pauldron is the purrgil (the space whales) that took Ezra (and Thrawn) away.

Here in the states the Ghost has smashed through all the tiers, 20,456 with 1 hour to go so we will get all the crew members it be great if they included Sabine and chopper on that Rebels card back of them on the mural back drop. As for Sabine why didn't they just do the swap-able heads like Bo Katan I'm sure Hasbro can do a mid-production correction and go that route.

I was going to suggest Hasbro could address the helmet issue by giving us a swappable head/helmet in the Rebels season 4 version we get as Pulse exclusive on mural card back for the Ghost hitting 17k. But her helmet has a different design and coloring. And depending on the exclusivity of that mural card back, not sure if it will be snapped up quickly and made difficult to obtain. Maybe they'll fix this for a single carded version of her later in the mainline.

Uh oh, Sabine’s removable helmet is too big because it has to accommodate the size of her head. It’s a real shame we can’t just do a much more accurately sized swappable head.

Thanks for the early review Bossk! (Man, you are just on top of everything coming out!) The figure looks fantastic. But what the heck were they thinking with that helmet?! They got the formula right with Bo Katan and Koska Reeves, why do they keep changing it? I personally wouldn't mind if they went swappable heads for most figures going forward (even clones and Boba Fett... I mean, why even have a head on an unnamed clone anyway? But maybe that's just me)

I like removable helmets when possible (it's just so fun putting it on and off). But also don't make bad helmets.

If the lothcat's head is on a ball joint. can you head swap Sabine and the cat?

Since I backed the Ghost will I 100% get it? Barring that you have the money of course

I am not sure because I never bought the 5POA versions. I would say not as Bar bells on TVC arent normally used on 5POA. Having said that, the helmet on the 5POA figure is pretty big too!

So far we’re seeing a lot of scenes with Sabine having her helmet off, so there are plenty of posing opportunity to set up a display without her helmet on. Not ideal I realize, but it is what it is. Maybe I’ll find a little map ball replica (a thermal detonator perhaps) and display Sabine threatening to shoot the map, or I’ll put her in Han’s cuffs as a prisoner. Ideally though, the best pose I’m planning is a lightsaber going right through her torso. I plan on cutting a red saber in two and gluing it front/back to simulate what turned out to be yet again another absolutely incredibly asinine epic fail by Disney where a lightsaber has been reduced to a toothpick that causes little to no damage to the human body when thrust through the abdomen…..🤦🏻‍♂️. Forget the oversized helmet. The failure of this figure is the lack of a torso hole to replicate a clean piercing….🤦🏻‍♂️.

But both Bo Katan and Koska Reeves have hinges at the wrists. This is the first one that doesn’t. That unfortunate

They should just make all swappable heads for all the figures because it just looks much better

Nice review, thanks! The figure itself is very nice. Moreso than I had expected, frankly. That helmet size is absolutely disgraceful. They did it with a much closer-to-accurate scale with their BoB version of Fett, so no excuses.

When Bo Katan first came out, and then we got Sasha Banks, I was expecting hasbro to just reuse that helmet for all future Sabines as well.

I must be stupid cause the helmet size doesn't bother me, is it just me?

Technically the helmet its correct proportions... for the cartoon.

As far as the helmet, my figure the helmet is too tight on the head and it’s really almost impossible to remove 🥶

I cancelled my pre-order yesterday. I hope the release another one on a cardback with a new helmet. Do you think it will happen?

I would have to agree the helmet is too big but then again if she is the same height as bo-katan figure then she is too small if you compare bo-katan figure next to dins figure and look at real life comparison she isn’t that short so maybe if she was made a bit taller the helmet may not look so bad look at joy toy they have gotten size just right.

Hi Tim! Yup, the figure looks great - except I think the likeness is a little wonky, the chin looks cartoonishly big and mannish. Do you think they'll correct the helmet with a swappable head and do a re-release? Do a carded version with less accessories but a swappable head? Or is this just it for Sabine?
