I review all of the products as and when they are released but also review older action figures from previous lines. 3.75" Star Wars figures is my passion, and has been since I was a child growing up in the 1980s. Most of the content you will find will be about TVC and 3.75, including reviews, commentary, reveals and my Q&A series every Sunday.

Hey Bossk QFNE would you think it would be hard for Hasbrouck to make a imperial jump trooper from battle front 2 game into a TVC? Or maybe inferno squad as a TVC? I know they have them in the 6 inch black series.

Appreciate the shoutout! And totally agreed on the Pyke Soldier. They fight the Tuskens in the flashbacks and they fight Boba/Fennec/Krrsantan/Mando at the end, so they would help fill out both timelines of the show quite nicely.
Hello BB. Congrats on your anniversary achievement! I’m new to your channel, and I’m enjoying it immensely. My Question for you is, back in 2004, we got the Death Star Red Leader X-Wing, that was pretty poor. The cockpit was very plain and It had pre-set stickers on the wings. Do you think that we will ever get a new more updated version of Red Leader and his X-Wing? The newer style X-Wing is far better than that old one. In my opinion, they need to stop re-issuing the same character more than twice. it diminishes its uniqueness, as well as value. at the very most 2 issues. first one to see how well the character does for the fans and second would be the improved iteration with different paint or accessories etc. its ridiculous when its the exact same figure for more money..

Just became a channel member! Hey BB QFNW are we ever gonna see the rest of the Bad Batch in TVC? I have to admit I’m getting a bit frustrated with Hasbro. Their mentality with TVC seems completely out of touch with us fans in my opinion.

This figure looks great. The head sculpt is stellar, and you're right, the robe is ten times better than what we've seen in the past. I just wish they could make them so they looked good with the hood up. I don't think the Black Series hoods are any more successful at this than the TVC ones are. I love that pop of gold on the tabard - it makes him so much more dynamic-looking than the usual boring tan/white/brown Jedi outfits. But, it looks like every Acolyte character has that same look. I wish each character had more of the their own individual costume design going on - Even as part of a team, or a school, it would be cooler if they were more distinct.
I believe the black series ones are pinned down in the same way. The only way they could sort the hood is with a bit of wire. Would up the cost though!

Question for next week: Given the success of Haslab on big projects, do you think Hasbro would ever consider smaller crowd sourced projects? Like, Vaders Tie fighter will be made if they get some number of presales.
Waaazzzz uuuupp! BB, two part question for next week. With ROTS on the horizon, do you think we would get a 4 pack of phase 2 clones with various paint apps, with the new phase 2 clone mold. For instance, windu purple, shock trooper, saleucami, dark utapau trooper etc. So many paint apps to army build. 2nd part, I don't see Hasbro doing any expanded universe clone trooper figs since they just reintroduce the common ones. Which clone trooper would you like to see make a comeback. For me it's the yellow barc trooper, blue heavy arc trooper, and lastly kashyyyk scout trooper. My room is full clones, and need to find time to upload a video 😅. Always look forward to Sundays to watch your vids. Awesome content as always!

Howdy BB! The videos are always awesome and congrats on the success of the channel! QFNW: With Hasbro being able to share figure design / engineering between the black series and TVC (I think the grand inquisitor and Reva are examples of this?), why doesn’t Hasbro utilize sharing designs and sculpts between scales more to fill the missing gaps in TVC, theoretically without tapping into the “new tooling” budget? Great candidates that come to mind would be the rest of the bad batch, and prequel releases like the new darth Sidious, Ki Adi Mundi and super battle droid just released in the black series. Bonus question: what figures from the black series would you like scaled down and released in TVC?

No reprints in the HasLabs please. No Cantina you can buy it. Really no play sets. Those are for children to play with. Locking it behind $500 is just plain a bad idea.

I been finishing off my jabbas characters collection and pretty much got all of them except a few. I don't have an ishi tib or that frog dog i think it called bubo. QFNW, I know they will probably never release them but how much would you like to see an ishi tib or bubo? There was an ishi tib in powers of the force but it's from the rebel briefing room. He's not the one from jabbas palace. The bubo on the secondary market has a ludicrous price tag attached. Are there any other jabba dudes you would love to see. Haslab reveal probably SDCC. I have a theory: I bet a bean counter was like hey, a lot of people signed up for premium to get free shipping for the ghost so we need to prolong the cantina so they’ll have to renew for the next one. I like all the jelly coming from the TBS community. They are desperate for the haslab to fail. They’re like “a failed haslab?” “Haslab overpriced?” Some are comparing it to the throne room. It’s like yeah, you just justified the price with your own comparison. It’ll have way more figures, accessories, and at least twice as big. So really the base offering should be more like $460. Even if it was 600, if the rumored tonnikas are true, there’s no way in hades that this isn’t backing! It’s like I’m sorry you placed your bets on 6 inch, but you should have stayed on the cool side! I’m only kind of joking, but they do need to try to keep that bad juju on their side, save it for the next rancor!
Hey bossk, qfnw: I see people ask for a Death Star haslab but I’m of the opinion that it would be better to get several Death Star play sets individually, as it’s physically impossible to have an accurately scaled Death Star anyway. We already have an emperors throne room set (sort of) and stuff like Leias cell, the darth Vader/obi wan hallway fight, the trash compactor and the control room the droids hide in could all be individual sets. What do you think?
It truly puzzles me sometimes to wonder why Hasbro hasn’t done that yet..
Another fun episode with lots to think about, Bossk! I think you and another commenter (I've forgotten the name) are right on the money, "Deluxe" figures should come on a larger bubble/card and the boxes should be for actual sets. A Storm Trooper or Imperial Officer (generic) with a couple sections of interlocking "Imperial Wall Panel" would be a great No-Brainer for such a set as both loose collectors and Army Builders would benefit without upsetting carded collectors. Rebel troops with pieces of Echo Base or Yavin Base would also be great additions.
With how many different suppliers have pre orders for new figures, what is your go to place to get your figures when they release for these videos. I usually use BBTS, but they still haven't shipped my Revan! Lookin for a better supplier. If anyone else wants to give their, you are welcome to as well.
