Looked for the video to see the best way to display the HK-87 droid so he can stand. I was not disappointed with that intro

Ahsoka is a gold mine for figures. The show is awesome and i'm enjoying the hell out of it. I am sure we will see figures of every character.

I hope they release a Rebels season 4 Kanan to go along with this Ezra. Who knows if in the last episode we got a Kanan appearence, then the figure will be more likely to be released.

Unless I didn't pay attention, do you think Enoch is someone we already know. Part of me thought kanan, but part of me thought Ezra has already turned and playing the good guy role, but I'd love to think it was an anakin clone. Which Palpatine says that some seem things to be unnatural.......so why not clone anakin?

The red HK is so close to being perfect, but the tone of the red plastic and choice to not paint it’s visor really let the figure down, not to mention the fact it doesn’t come with a staff of any kind!!

Yeah, the staff hurts, but come to find out there is a little paint in the visor. Not near as dark as I'd like though.

Hey Robo, your Sabine helmet is REALLY warped, in other reviews I've seen the helmet fits pretty much perfectly on her head, might wanna heat it up in hot water and try restore the shape 👍🏻

I do wish Morgan came with some spell casting hands or something. She does look good with the spear. My hope for Ezra & this figure is when he returns, he shaves and jumps back in his old suit. Hahah Compared to Katie Sackhoff, I think they could've done a better job with Natasha Liu Bordizzo but maybe it's the print QC more than the sculpt? I wonder if putting Sabine's helmet in hot water could help that warp you have. That profile on it looks bad. Thanks for the review. 🙏I'm getting all reviewed! (except for Ahsoka - already have)

For Morgan, If you want a cheaper option for those magic effects, use the Loki show old man loki green magic effects, that’s a really cheap figure! The hands can also be removed with heat and the scarlet witch from wandavision hands make great sorcery poses.

Ngl I really hope they give us the Rebels crew in their season 4 looks to go along with this Ezra (as well as an Ahsoka accurate Chopper). They'd all be pretty easy repaints/retools. I think Kanan is the only one who would need an all new sculpt. Everyone else could just use their live action figures as a base (a new torso overlay/arms for Hera, a new jetpack for Sabine, and I guess Zeb would really just need new armor-less shoulders). so I imagine they'd be easy exclusives or whatever

*Puts on my nerdsplaining glasses* When Huyang said Sabine tweaked Ezra's saber, he mostly meant that she added that angled blade emitter. It's how they're able to justify calling it "Sabine's lightsaber" in promotions and on merch packaging. The original design in Rebels had a mostly flat emitter like Luke and Kenobi's so the saber they gave Ezra here is actually inaccurate to what it should look like.

Agreed. Mine sits a lot better than the one in the video.

I literally JUST got Ezra today and was so happy to play this while opening him up.

I really prefer the way that Ahsoka’s saber blade pegs into the hilt. I wish they had the same engineering for Sabine and Ezra’s lightsabers instead of the older ‘mushroom peg’ style they got.

Funko Pop Stands are perfect for droids! I use them on all my Battledroids.

I think I've seen people use MCU Scarlet Witch hands as magic hands for Morgan Elsbeth. Might pick her up on clearance and do that since I don't have a Beskar Spear.

Great reviews! My HK also can't stand at all. Had to break out the Can of Beams stand to keep him upright. I also got those Doom effects on Morgan with ML Enchantress hands. They're a little big but it works. Wish she came with some accessories, but since I had this stuff in a drawer already, it makes it sting a tad bit less.

Old man Loki has those green effects. Prob still find one on super discount

That opening with the hk droid is just too accurate I always have to prop mine up against the wall because it would knock down every single figure on my shelf

Great review as always, Robo. I did a video on the Mando HK-87 droid - I had the same issue with the ankles. That figure would not stand up. I ended up using Mod Podge on the ankles - he's still standing. Keep up the excellent work! 👍👍

For the falling droid and any loose-joint figure I recommend Kiki loose joint fix. It helped me a lot.

Solid heads is how we got the amazing Death Watch Mandalorian head sculpt with no squashing from the package. Removable helmets are cool, but I'd be fine with alternate heads too.

got these from my wal-mart yesterday for only $10.00 each on clearance. they got mismarked and put in the clearance isle with other black series figures and so, i was like, win win, bay bay. lol.

Ahsoka is soooo good. Looking forward to nab the whole Black series.

I'm excited to get some of the figures, especially the rebels that I missed the first time. And can get Chopper for a good price.

Classic loki (Richard e grant loki) also comes with green smoke magic effects, on the secondhand market often for cheap.

Kind of a mixed bag of a wave for me. Ahsoka and Chopper I already have of course. Morgan and HK are just kinda eh. But I definitely want Ezra and Sabine! Great review as always! Thanks for the in-depth video. -Justin

Hello there, do you think that the lightning effects from Deku of my hero academia (maybe from the version of mcfarlane toys) could work for Morgan?? I agree that the effect of Dathomir is more like flames, but at least thats another option too

I wonder if making the hair removable/interchangeable like some of the Joes would help with Black Series helmets. Because rn the main problem is fitting the hair underneath. Not sure if it would fix the oversized problem tho

Morgan Elsbeth also seems to reuse the darkside Rey arms. Its like how theres a Vintage Collection Tusken that uses the Scavenger Rey mould as a base. Glad they're getting their money's worth out of that tooling

Can the Marvel Legends Scarlet Witch hands be interchangeable with the Elsbeth figure? The colors don't seem to match, but at least it's more expressive

My first release HK barely stands too, makes me worry if they ever put out HK-47... Also, Ezra's saber should have a different emitter.

I don’t know if this is a thing as I’m not an expert black series collector but I’ve noticed that the figure I received looks different. I didn’t pre order her rather I managed to pick her up online last week on hasbros website as I was lucky to get her that way. But I was comparing figures that were released in the first pre order wave and the face sculpts look more round and the eye print is synonymous amongst those I’ve seen selling this Sabine figure. The stock images hasbro provides looks like the Sabine you received as well. The Sabine I received today has the correct print on her eyes luckily but her face is less round and her facial features are ever so slightly more defined. And I got a feeling Hasbro quietly did this small change and I’d like to know if others have the same experience. I like the figure I received nonetheless :)!

Hey I’m not sure you’ll even see these or read it but I think you just got a bad Sabine helmet…I just opened mine and it fits absolutely perfect. Goes on easy and fits the whole head no problem at all!! Actually could even argue it’s a bit loose but overall awesome! I’d reach out to pulse or get some sort of replacement!!

I got a Super Shredder figure from BST AXN that has some crazy green hand / fire effects, I doubt they will fit but it's worth a try!

Those’s green magic DOOM effects also came with Richard E Grant classic Loki

How long before you paint one of the Ahsokas light grey and white?

Robo the Classic Loki from the Marvel Legends Konshu BAF Wave (Old Loki from Season 1 of the Loki Show) also comes with the green wrap-around fire effects!

Was watching with the two year old (who loves Ahsoka). When you said not to put the parts in your mouth she said "I no put them in my mouth! It choke me." Then looked at me, pointed and told me not to put them in my mouth either. 😂

I got u robo, for Morgan if you use the effects from the classic Loki figure from the Loki Disney+ wave the hands need a lil painting tho

To me the best looking Ahsoka Tano is the 3-pack with Mandalorian and grogu that one has a really good face with no shine at all except the eyes and the hair is the same as the new one and some of the details and some of the paint differences plus came with a Jedi Cloak

Try the effect parts from Chasm for Elsbeth.

there is a couple of spawn figures that have green fire accessories

the top of sabine's helmet looks kinda flat. maybe if you heat it up and then push it down onto the head it might get a more proper shape and fit.

The green energy effects from the Marvel Legends Classic Loki could also work for Morgan.

You know it’s weird, my Sabines helmet is really loose. That’s odd. Lucky for me because unlike the show, Sabine is keeping her helmet on in my house. Lol

That Ezra gun is Han Solo blaster from the Solo movie.

I had the first version that was released of Hk-87 and his ankle was so loose he couldn't stand either Dude. It was such a let down.

I’m focusing on TVC when it comes to SW. While most can complain about the repack of Ahsoka, it’s still one of the better TBS. In this wave, I couldn’t resist so I picked up Chopper since I never had him. The latest RotJ wave has hit stores in Canada last week and, this week, the Pre Vizsla wave with the same R2 repacked from RotJ in a Mando box. Shipping and arrivals have been all over the place from Hasbro.

Same focusing on TVC here. The TVC releases are really putting this wave to shame. Newly molded Ahsoka series Chopper, Ezra with the Helmet+Loth-cat, Elsbeth with the colored soft goods, HK-87 with the spear, Sabine with her spray, satchel, and Loth-Cat.

"I'm glad they got over the sweaty hump" I can hear echoes of Veebes from Sunday; "THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!" 😂 It's weird, but I've only preordered the Ahsoka villains. Could be that I already have representations of the other characters that I'm happy with. Guess it'll come down to how I feel when I see them in store. Also, not a fan of the Star Wars team going to the early McFarlane DC Multiverse thigh wiggle instead of a full swivel

Store by me got in the Andor wave this week, and I initially mistook Skarsgard for Werner, and only on a second look did it click that I NEED HIM FOR MCU ERIC!! Luckily, Egghead body is free, as his head promoted to a Guardian of the Galaxy Beldar! MEB! 😜🖖 Also, if you’re up in StL again, check out our new Ollie’s on Manchester. Esp if you need Credit Gideon, Greef, and Kuill. I dunno... I was really impressed with HK-87 at a glance, then he came out of the package, and... meh. I think I'ma wait for Baylen, and get him next to Morgan Elsbeth in a diorama with some kind of holotable between them, plotting. Also, if we get proper night troopers, with the helmets cracked and the decayed bits underneath visible? I'm gonna end up breaking the speed barrier reaching for my wallet.

Hasbro can't seem to make helmets for Sabine. Here it is too small and on the Vintage Collection it is too big.

it looks like if Sabine's helmet was a baby and some absolute villain came by and pressed its soft spot in, maybe a good HOT water bath and then shoving it on her head will fix that problem?

For the Ahsokas, I prefer the old one. The finishes/level of shine on the torso feel like they compliment each other better, plus I like the skin tone more. The face paint I definitely prefer on the old one (I'd notice it being misaligned with her nose more than the crest), but that might just be a factory thing for certain batches (same with the belt) because I've seen some wonky Mando ones too. But it's a good figure in general, so either one is good, and the nice thing about Black Series is there's no BAF to make people feel obligated to get a second Ahsoka!

@@TheFwoosh Yeah, neither is at an angle, and both are right in some way. I think it maybe *can't* be perfectly aligned with both the nose and the crest. Might just be how the head is put together.

Funny thing about this conversation, I was watching the newest episode and could swear in the straight on shots of Ahsoka her face markings actually drift to the left of the bridge of the nose....
