The guy who had the stone made me do this ridiculous fetch quest. And I came back to him and he said something to the effect of "now go do 2 more." Something inside me just broke. They created a society that is stable but devoid of choice. "Someone had a dream I have to kill myself for a peace thousand years from now? OK!" No hesitation, no critical thought, no effort to find another way to achieve the same result. Whichever side gets them in the end is not the winner.

Yeah like it’s not insane technical combat all you do is press buttons but the journey alone with your own character just makes awesome as hell. And there are some epic moments endgame

5:46 macdaddymario gets it. KOTOR tricks you into playing dungeons and dragons and I'm about it. KOTOR 2 is a dating/cult sim (and is the best of TOR series imo). Just so well-written. If you find the combat boring ratchet up the difficulty until you literally cannot progress without micromanaging your entire party and using all your items. The 1v1 with Vrook in KOTOR 2 I had to cheese with mines at the highest difficulty, because I hadn't built my character right.
